不同的体系对它的解读不一样,因此词典中常见的释义是the day of the week after Thursday and before Saturday。
大多国家将其认定为一周的第六天,韦氏词典的定义也是the sixth day of a week。
a result of an old convention associating the Old English goddess Frigg with the Roman goddess Venus, with whom the day is associated in many different cultures.
Black Friday refers to any one of several historical disasters that happened on Fridays, and, in a general sense, to any Friday the thirteenth.
It is the Friday before Easter in the Christian calendar. It commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus.
