美国50年代最红的歌后醇厚的声线令人迷醉

今天要介绍一位美国老牌歌后，50年代最红的歌手。

华丽醇厚的声音，与卡朋特的金嗓有几分相似。类似她这种自带唱片画面的声线，非常令人迷醉，至今还未有来者……

有时候会想，一种声音对应一个时代，她不紧不慢、从容有度的声音，就是那个时代的节奏吧。

她叫

帕蒂.佩姬（Patti Page)

，一个始终优雅的女歌手。

帕蒂.佩姬是大乐队时代排名第 14 位的艺人，在这期间共有上榜歌曲 39 支。她是 50 年代唱片销售量最大的女歌手。

927 年 11 月 8 日，帕蒂.佩姬出生于俄克拉何马州的 Muskogee 。她是在Tulsa 地方的无线电台开始她的职业歌唱生涯的。在周末也偶尔参加一些爵士音乐会。她 Patti Page 的艺名是在 Page Milk 赞助的一个节目中起的。即使后来她离开了这档节目，这个艺名却保留了下来。

她的第一支热门曲

《Confess－坦白》

就是这一年的成绩，而且是第一位流行歌星，制作了自己和自己合唱的录音。

在继续取得几首成功的歌曲后，于1950年，她的一支《With My Eyes Wide Open I’m Dreaming－睁眼梦》达到了唱片销售百万张的成绩，这全靠她新型的，自我重唱效果（也被称为帕蒂·佩奇四重唱）。

还是在 1950 年，《All My Love－我所有的爱》成了她的第一支榜首曲，在榜首停留了 5 周。

同年，她一生中最成功的歌曲《The Tennessee waltz－田纳西圆舞曲》则在榜首停留了好几个月（此曲被选定为田纳西州州歌），被列美国为最佳销售单曲之一。在后来的日子里，这支歌曲不下于 6 次步入排行榜前 40 位。

在 1952 年到 53 年间，佩奇还出了两支大热门曲《I Went To Your Wedding－我参加了你的婚礼》和《That Doggie In The Window－橱窗的小狗》，都在榜首停留了 2 个多月。

此外，还有一首《Cross Over The Bridge－过桥》，也曾非常受欢迎。

一直到 60 年代中期，她一直是排行榜上强有力的竞争者；她所演唱的流行歌曲范围也非常之广。那时流行歌曲有“日渐消沉”之势，要想到责任在谁时，很容易会追到她的身上。

这是因为她太优秀了。

帕蒂.佩姬于 2013 年 1 月 1 日去世，享年 85 岁。
