特朗普侄女新书火爆，曝光大量总统黑历史

当地时间7月14日，特朗普侄女玛丽·特朗普新书《太多和永远不够：我的家族如何造就了世界上最危险的人》（Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World's Most Dangerous Man）

正式出版。

据CNN报道，该书销量惊人，14日正式出版发行后，其纸质书、电子书及音频的首日销量合计达到95万份，并登上了亚马逊畅销书排行的榜首。

出版商西蒙舒斯特公司表示，这本书的成绩已经创下了该公司的记录。此前，前美国国家安全顾问博尔顿揭露白宫内幕的书《涉事之屋》，也仅仅只达到了首周销量超80万的成绩。

Mary Trump's tell-all book had sold a staggering 950,000 copies by the end of its first day on sale, publisher Simon & Schuster said Thursday.
That figure, which included pre-sales, as well as e-books and audiobooks, is a new record for Simon & Schuster, the company said.

就在新书上市当天，玛丽·特朗普接受美国广播公司（ABC）采访，当主持人问到“如果今天你和你叔叔在白宫椭圆形办公室中，你会对他说什么”时，玛丽直截了当地回答道：“辞职吧（Resign.）”，并称“他完全没有能力领导这个国家，让他继续担任总统一职是很危险的”。

He is utterly incapable of leading this country. And it's dangerous to allow him to do so.

黑历史被曝光

据CNN报道，玛丽·特朗普的新书曝光了一系列家族黑历史。

现年55岁的玛丽·特朗普是总统的哥哥小弗雷德·特朗普的女儿，他于1981年去世。玛丽·特朗普在书中爆料称特朗普在美国SAT考试中雇枪手代考，使自己高分进入宾夕法尼亚大学沃顿商学院，但特朗普作弊的说法已被白宫否认。

Mary Trump stood by a claim in her book that her uncle paid someone to take SAT tests for him to help him get into the University of Pennsylvania, which the White House has denied, though she acknowledged that she can't prove the identity of the person.

玛丽·特朗普是一名临床心理学家，她从心理层面剖析了特朗普的“病态”，称特朗普的心理疾病对他人造成伤害。

采访中，玛丽提到特朗普父亲对其的打压造成了特朗普的童年创伤，而这导致了特朗普的自恋与病态。

"It's kind of ironic in the sense that the traits my grandfather came to value in Donald were the traits that were a result of my grandfather's maltreatment of Donald. The bullying, the tendency not to care about other people's feelings, the willingness to cheat, lie to get what he wanted. And eventually ... my grandfather started to see a kindred spirit. Somebody who could advance his agenda."
“有些讽刺的是，我的祖父看中特朗普的特质都是由祖父虐待特朗普带来的。恃强凌弱、不关心别人的感受、选择欺骗、用撒谎的方式得到他想要的东西。终于……我的祖父开始看到一个‘志同道合’的人，一个可以推进他的计划的人。”

玛丽还指责他是一个“反社会分子”，控诉他一直以来的“傲慢和无知”威胁着国家。

采访中，玛丽称不能继续让特朗普伤害美国了：

"I saw firsthand what focusing on the wrong things, elevating the wrong people can do—the collateral damage that can be created by allowing somebody to live their lives without accountability."
“我亲眼见证了关注错误的事情、提拔错误的人会带来什么后果，而这些连带伤害是因为我们任由某人不负责任地活下去造成的。”
"If I can do anything to change the narrative and to tell the truth, I need to do it. Because I don't believe the American people had the entire truth four years ago."

因为涉及总统私密，总统的弟弟罗伯特·特朗普此前曾向纽约州最高法院提出申请，对玛丽和出版商发布临时限制令，声称该书违反了老弗雷德·特朗普遗嘱签署的保密协议。但限制令颁布不久后，法院就撤销了限制令，裁决新书可以出版。

对于玛丽新书的出版，特朗普还未做出正式回应，但在7月8日，白宫新闻秘书接受记者采访时就曾回应：虽然还没看书，但已知道这是本充满谎言的书。
