Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Redefine what automation solutions in the manufacturing industries can be while automating the
  • process of designing, developing, and deploying new production lines.
  • Develop continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for FANUC, Kawasaki, and KUKA industrial robots.
  • Create tools for:
    • Continuous backup and remote deployment of robot code
    • Code comparison, control flow, and static analysis
    • Performing vendor OLP checks
    • Building and compiling robot code
  • Help in system design, development, and deployment of microservice-based architectures using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Develop BI (Business Intelligence) dashboards, which can alert users about real-time changes on the production floor thus displaying changes vs cycle time vs downtime metrics.
  • Design and develop in-house software to use as a user interface for controlling and troubleshooting automation equipment.
  • Use modern software tools and practices to ensure high performance, low latency, and ease of deployment.
  • Design robust and redundant infrastructure for hosting software used for the production runtime. This includes the usage of clustering for load balancing and fail-over on distributed systems
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or Equivalent:
  • Interest in areas such as Product Management, Software Design, Operations, and Data Visualization
  • Experience with UNIX, Go, C/C++, Python
  • Knowledge of modern Front-End development; React, JavaScript, Typescript
  • Understanding of network protocols used in automation environments such as FTP, TCP/IP
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and development workflow
  • Experience working with dockerized containers and clustering using systems such as Kubernetes
  • Experience working with databases and distributed storage systems such as MongoDB or Cockroach DB

Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work on end-to-end process of developing deep learning and traditional computer vision algorithms including data engineering, model training, optimization, validation and deployment to vehicles.
  • Analyze and optimize performance from algorithm perspective including network architecture exploration, post-training quantization, quantization-aware training and sparsification.
  • Optimize performance of end-to-end pipelines from implementation perspective using industry standard frameworks such as OpenCL, OpenGL and OpenVX.
  • Collaborate with platform software engineers to co-optimize algorithms and software implementation on SoC.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently pursuing a M.S or Ph.D with a focus on computer vision, machine learning, deep learning or related technical field. Undergrad students can be also considered if similar level of experience and knowledge can be presented
  • Experience with coding in C/C++ and/or Python
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Solid understanding of machine learning, image processing, traditional computer vision algorithms and neural network architectures
  • Familiarity with industry standard frameworks such as OpenCL, OpenCV, OpenGL and OpenVX
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems and execute in a face-paced environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
