KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • POTENTIAL TEAMS:

  • Ecommerce:  The Ecommerce engineering teams are responsible for the entire online purchasing experience on the Battle.net Shop.  From payment processing to clawbacks – get ready to see it all. 
  • Platform:  Our platform engineering teams are responsible for all the behind-the-scenes technology that makes everything run.  From the infrastructure to dev portals, they do it all!

  • Applications:  From the desktop and mobile Battle.net application to every Blizzard game website, corporate, and esports landing page – our applications team touches it all!

  • Service Technologies:   Enhancing the experience of our players and customer support services is just the beginning of what makes Service Tech the team that it is.  Be a part of the engineering team that ensures all our players can fully enjoy our games.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently enrolled in a college or university 
  • Returning for at least one more semester or quarter following the Summer 2022 internship 
  • Able to work full-time hours for 11 – 12 weeks at the Blizzard office indicated in this job posting between May 2022 – August 2022 or June 2022 – September 2022 (group dates depend on when you get out of school)

  • Product Manager Intern: We are looking for an  Intern to organize and coordinate team projects with our Austin-based Mobile Services team. As a Product Manager, you will act as a champion for the features your team develops and help to keep them on track towards delivery.

Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understand what our users are doing and why – Analytics, competitive analysis, interviews, and research support.  
  • Create and show solutions – Strategy, wireframes, flowcharts, prototypes, feature matrices, and designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and Principle. You’ll be presenting and communicating your work across the organization.  
  • Collaborate effectively – Team up with other disciplines such as product managers, engineers, other designers, and researchers.  
  • Iterate based on “validated learning” – More flowcharts, wires, and designs – often in collaboration with the research team.  
  • Deliver and follow through – Launch ideas (e.g. final wires, detailed flows, error states, etc.) and assist in post-launch analysis including A / B testing.
