KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

We're currently looking for Summer 2022 SWE co-ops to join us across the following areas:

Our tech stack includes: Java, iOS, Android, HTML5/CSS3, BackBone.js, Dojo, React, Angular, NodeJS, Spring MVC, Rest Easy, Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, Cassandra, EC2, ELB, Route53, Hadoop, Pig, Selenium, TestNg, Karma.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Current student enrolled in a related degree or post grad seeking program, eligible for a Co-op work term from May or June 2022 - December 2022.
Solid understanding of Agile development, object oriented design, and programming languages. Ability to provide examples of production ready code.
Extensive programming experience with one or more of the following: C#, Java, C++, Python
Knowledge of front-end web design and languages (D/HTML, JavaScript, XML, Flex, CSS)
Strong written, verbal, and collaboration skills
Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities and technologies in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Familiarity or the ability to learn current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility and usability

Security Intern - Summer 2022

Summary

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Our interns have opportunities to work in one of the following areas:

Security Software Engineer: Assessments/Automation/Back End/Encryption/Red Team
Security Analyst: Compliance/Forensics/Incident Handling/Threat Intelligence/Third Party

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Must be currently enrolled in a degree seeking program (BS, MS) and have no more than one year left until graduation at time of internship
BS or MS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related
Strong security skills and/or software engineering skills
For Software Engineering Candidates — Have a solid understanding of object oriented design and programming languages - Have experience with at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, C#, C++
For Security Analyst Candidates — Have knowledge and/or experience with at least one of the following areas: risk analysis; intelligence analysis; cyber forensics; security compliance frameworks; security governance concepts.

Mobile Developer Intern/Co-op (Winter 2022, 4 or 8 months)

Summary

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with architecting, designing, and developing mobile applications used by millions of customers
Work within Agile teams to plan and develop prototypes & POC’s
Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and completing code reviews, project & unit testing
Contribute to quality best practices including peer reviews of estimates, design, and code

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Currently enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate degree seeking program, eligible to work the Winter 2022 work term (Jan – April)
Experience (school, work or extra-cirricular) with Web & Mobile Development (Andriod or iOs) is a plus
Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture processes, and mobile development fundamentals.
Strong knowledge of at least one object-oriented language (Java, C#/C++, Python), experience with React native, Swift, Firebase, Kotlin are assets!
Passion for quality practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated regression
Passion for collaborating and learning new technologies.
