This year’s Nominations Announcement took place on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. The 95th Oscars aired live on ABC on Sunday, March 12, 2023.

The Asian-led multiverse adventure Everything Everywhere All at Once turned out to be a big winner Sunday night at the 95th Academy Awards, held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, with seven trophies.

The film, a hilarious and big-hearted sci-fi action adventure about an exhausted Chinese American woman who can't seem to finish her taxes, took home Best Picture.

Everything Everywhere All at Once is a 2022 American absurdist comedy-drama film written and directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert. It follows Evelyn Wang, a Chinese-American immigrant who must connect with parallel universe versions of herself to prevent a powerful being from destroying the multiverse. Michelle Yeoh stars as Evelyn, with Stephanie Hsu, Ke Huy Quan, Jenny Slate, Harry Shum Jr., James Hong, and Jamie Lee Curtis in supporting roles.

"Ladies, don't ever let anyone tell you that you are past your prime," Yeoh said during her acceptance speech. "For all the little boys and girls who look like me watching tonight, this is a beacon of hope and possibility."

All Quiet on the Western Front (German: Im Westen nichts Neues) is a 2022 German-language epic anti-war film based on the 1929 novel of the same name by Erich Maria Remarque.
