1, Q：What's the language they are going to use?

大赛是以什么语言进行的？

A：YIEC is an international competition, participating teams are from China, Israel, US and more regions, all the program is conducted in English, the Business Plan should be made in English PPT,and the pitch speech will be in English, at least one can express yourself in English, but English level is not our judging criteria.

本次大赛是国际青少年大赛，除了中国的团队，也有以色列和美国等国家和地区的团队，因此大赛全程采用英文，商业计划书以英文PPT形式，路演以英语进行演讲，所以团队中至少需要一个人掌握英语，大赛不要求英语非常流利，只要能清晰表达即可，英语水平不是大赛的评分标准，读稿也是可以的，不过可能会影响得分。

2, Q： How much time whey will need to spend online？

参赛青少年选手要花多少时间在线？

A：According to the experience of last YIEC, each of them will spend about average 2 hours online and 3 hours offline, they will do teamwork on business plan and 1 min video offline, 5 hours in total. We have three online sessions, they can watch recorded video in case of missing.

根据以往YIEC大赛的经验，每个学员所花的时间平均为2小时线上，3小时线下，总共5小时。三次线上活动都有录像，所以除了5月22日比赛不可缺席，其他时间如果缺席可以看录像。线下主要是团队讨论和制作商业计划书及1分钟视频。

3, Q： They need to build team by themselves? how many people should be best team?

他们需要自己组建团队吗？多少人一个团队最好？

A：In order to let all the participants to experience the real scenario as much as possible, they need to convince friends/classmates or siblings to join as a team, and they will discuss and decide roles for each. The ideal number of team can be 4 people.

为了所有参赛选手都能尽可能得到创业过程的真实体验，他们需要吸引和说服朋友、同学或兄弟姐妹加入团队，一起讨论决定每个人的角色和职位。

4, Q：Can they ask for help from parents or other mentors? 他们能否寻求父母或其他人的帮助？

A：Of course they can, in real world, the startups always look for help from all kinds of people, so they do feel free to ask for any help from any other people.

当然可以。在现实世界中，创业公司需要向周围任何人寻求任何帮助，他们担任也可向父母或其他人寻求帮助。当然他们不能使用别人的PPT，而需要自己完成。

5, How important is the certificate and recommendation? is it helpful for them in college application?

获奖证书及推荐信的含金量如何？是否对他们未来升学有帮助？

A：The certificate will be recognized by an embassy, and the YIEC is already an internationally recognized Youth Competition, and it will be more and more famous, so we do believe it will be recognized by the top universities.

YIEC大赛证书将由大使馆官方认可，而且本大赛已经是一个国际认可的青少年大赛，也有众多知名企业家和投资家作为评委，因此大家有足够的理由相信会得到国际顶尖大学的认可。

YIEC2021冠军得主是来自上海中芯国际学校的Helen和Luxian，她们都已收到来自国际名校商学院的多个Offer，参加这次大赛对她们的大学专业及未来职业发展很有帮助！

6, How do you evaluate the teams' performance on the competetion?

你们如何给比赛团队打分？评判他们表现得依据是什么？

A：The judges will rate their performance based on feasibility of the project, positive impact , creativity，teamwork and presentation. We do value the project practice which is involved with society, for example, they have any customer or revenue.

大赛的企业家和投资人评委将从项目的可行性，社会效应，创新性，团队协作以及演讲表现等方面进行打分。如果有已经把项目运用于现实社会和市场的，我们将给与特别考虑，比如如果某项目已经获得客户或收入。

7, Will 2 weeks be enough to make and submit the BP presentation?

制作商业计划书两周时间是否足够？

A: After the lecture on May 1^st, 2 weeks period will be fairly enough, even the total time they will spend will be around 5 hours, but it means a lot, even life changing for them.

在5月1日的商业计划书线上课进行后，两周时间对于做商业计划书是足够的，但对于一个合理安排时间的选手而言，这五小时不值一提，但对他们有极为重要的意义！

Introduction 关于大赛

FutureStarUp Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Contest is a competetion for teens, organized by Mathlevi Financial Education. It aims to nurture the innovative and entrepreneurial capabilities of global teenagers, while also encourage them to make impact in their early age. We invite Global teenagers to participate. It will be a great opportunity for them to practice business skills and meet brilliant peers from all over the world. Moreover, they can win bonus and certificate which will help them in the future success.

In the contest, they will largely use and practice theirFinancial Thought and business acumen, which is essential to their future sucess.

Course: Making Business Plan and Startup

May 5-15: Submitting business plan and 1 min team video

We will provide mentoring during May 1-15

May 22: Roadshow and Competition*
May 29: Conclusion and Awarding Ceremony

All events are held on Zoom , all time participants need to spend on Zoom meetings will be less than 2 hours, all teams need to do the 5 minutes pitch on the online roadshow, they can watch recorded video if they have to miss the other two Zoom meetings.

所有会议均在线上进行，参赛者三次Zoom会议共所需在线时长少于2小时，参赛团队需在比赛当天做5分钟项目演示，其他Zoom会议若因特殊原因错过可以看录播。
