Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • For 10 weeks over the summer, our internship program offers undergraduate students and eligible graduate students first-hand experience with digital and analytics consulting at McKinsey. 
  • You will participate in an introductory training program, as well as a range of social activities to get to know your office and the Firm.
  • At the end of the summer, you may receive an offer to join us full-time after completion of your degree.
  • As an Analyst in a technical role, you will be an integral part of our cross-functional client teams, bringing a unique perspective and technical experience to each project.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • University student in a STEM related field (e.g., comp sci, etc.); expected graduation date between December 2022 to June 2023. Or, Master’s student completing your first year in a non-business, 2-year Master’s program with less than 2 years of work experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Strong command of English language (both verbal and written)

Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • You will contribute to the architecture across the technology stack from databases to native applications.  
  • You will create rapid prototypes, usually in 2-3 weeks, as well as full-scale applications by working collaboratively and iteratively through design and development to deliver fully functioning web-based and mobile applications.
  • You will develop RESTful API services and will be responsible for performance tuning large-scale applications. 
  • You will utilize DevOps practices and tooling like CD pipelines, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or comparable area of study
  • 1+ years of development experience
  • Experience with Java, .Net, Ruby on Rails and/or PHP coding experience 
  • Experience with JavaScript MVC framework, such as React JS, Backbone or Node JS
  • Experience with RESTful API development
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices
  • Experience with Cloud Native Application development on AWS, Azure or Heroku
  • Experience with HTML5/CSS (mobile development like Objective-C, Swift, Xamarin or PhoneGap)
  • Knowledge and/or experience with Relational and Non-Relational data stores like MongoDB, CouchDB or Cassandra
