除去找私教学习乐器以外，在英国，青少年学习乐器、声乐还可以选择加入一些有一定规模的音乐机构。不仅有老师提供多样的乐器学习，还有细分级别的管弦乐团，经常举办演出和表演。这些机构统称为Music Hub或者Music Service。一些机构还有Performing Art戏剧表演方面的课程。 比如之前离我们很近的Bromley Youth Music Trust，就是个非常全面的Music Hub。这些音乐机构绝大多数以慈善机构的形式存在，给当地的青少年提供了接触音乐的机会。
首先，音乐机构的老师会到所在社区内的公立学校开展价格合理甚至免费的乐器启蒙教学。包括大班课，小组课，1对1，全校合唱团，参加社区文化节演出等等。当然，有些乐器的排队等待的孩子会很多。
其次，Music Hub以非常低的价格出租各种乐器，低收入家庭有额外优惠。
第三，每年免费的Open Day会展示所有的乐器，供感兴趣的孩子们尝试。
第四，提供音乐启蒙班以及全面的乐器学习。
第五，机构不单单学习乐器，并把学员组织起来，参与各种组合和乐团。合唱choirs, 室内乐chamber music, 键盘keyboard classes, 乐团orchestras, 音乐表演Music Theatre等等。低级别的乐团无需面试，而高级别的乐团要通过面试成功才能参与。
第六，假期中提供短期音乐营和大师课。
第七，提供众多的演出机会和音乐会交流。
第八，课程价格非常亲民！
