中国台北艺术家陈滢如和萨满实践者林丽纯的展览“闭上双眼，真识即显。关掉大脑，真知即现。”于2022年3月3日在上海纽约大学当代艺术中心（上纽 ICA）正式开幕。她们的合作项目《音波驱动》(2018—进行中) 采用萨满的方法来进入意识转换状态，并创造另类现实。《音波驱动》进一步邀请其他人学习和尝试萨满实践，以创造对于自我的根本认识，并为扩展的集体服务。

艺术家们邀请观众扔掉对感官和逻辑的依赖，打破将科学与神秘主义、心灵与身体严格一分为二的方法，探索理性所难以企及的隐秘知识。展览观众和工作坊参与者须躺平身体、闭上眼睛，以便在黑暗中观察，并通过其他认知方式产生新的知识。
