Dear Parents,

We are very excited to share with you some good news about our current students and alumni!
Adele Zheng, ‘12
First, congratulations to Adele for being selected to the Team USA for figure skating. She and her teammate just competed in the Junior Grand Prix (Turkey) and won the sixth place. And, this just came in, Adele and her partner just won the championship in the Mid-West Sectional and won the third place in the US PAIR Final! The accolades just keep flooding in!
Adele started skating at 6 years old and fell in love with learning new and difficult moves on the ice. She has five dogs, one cat and a few goldfish. She grew up in China until high school. 
She currently attends Adlai E. Stevenson High School and is an honor roll student. We look forward to seeing Adele shine in the Winter Olympic Games in Milan, 2026!
Keefe Chang, ‘16
Congratulations to Keefe for his wonderful presentation at TEDx regarding the Climate Change and Warm Water Algae. Keefe volunteered to give a TEDx talk in his sixth grade at Soong Ching Ling School, the youngest speaker ever in the history of Soong Ching Ling School.
Mom said Keefe has benefited greatly from his years at Morgan Rothschild. Please see the video clip for the speech. Be prepared to be awed!
Sylvia Chen, ‘24
Congratulations to Sylvia Chen, ’24! She has achieved "Distinction" result of Grade 3 in the piano examination organized by the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music). Sylvia started learning to play piano in May 2022 during COVID lockdown. Her mother, also an accomplished musician, taught her to play. We have attached a clip of Sylvia playing piano for your entertainment!

首先， 我们要恭喜Adele获选进入美国花样滑冰国家队。Adele和她的搭档，刚刚获得2023-2024国际滑联世界花样滑冰大奖赛（土耳其站）青年组双人滑组合第6名。Adele在6岁开始学下花样滑冰，并且从此爱上学习新颖和高难度的滑冰动作。她养了5条狗、一只猫和几尾金鱼。自悦田毕业后，Adele就进入上海美国学校，一直到疫情期间，转去美国史蒂文生高中就读。除了入选国家队，Adele也是当地高中的荣誉学生。我们刚刚获得最新捷报是Adele刚在西雅图参加了美国中西部地区分区赛和美国双人组比赛， 获得美国双人花样滑冰决赛第三名和中西部地区分区赛第一名。我们期待Adele在2026年米兰冬季奥运绽放光芒！
Keefe Chang, ‘16
我们要恭喜Keefe创记录，成为宋庆龄学校有史以来，最年轻的TEDx英文演讲者！Keefe在小学6年纪，主动报名英文演讲TEDx, 题目是“青浦的气候改变和温水藻类”。
Keefe妈妈提到Keefe在悦田培养的英语能力和自信，让他可以在TEDx畅所欲言，分享他对气候变化的关心。您有5分钟吗？请聆听Keefe的TEDx Talk!
Sylvia Chen, ‘24
恭喜Sylvia在ABRSM英国皇家音乐学院联合委员会考试，钢琴三级中获得Distinction优秀的成绩。Sylvia是在2022年5月疫情封城期间，开始由她的妈妈启蒙的。Sylvia 的妈妈也是一个优秀的音乐家。我们附上Sylvia 弹琴的片段供您欣赏！
