美国最近对台小动作不断，佩洛西离台不足半月，近日又有美国政客再次窜台。台湾成为了一些无耻政客谋求自身政治利益、顺带商业捞金的好去处。
美国似乎全然忘记了其前总统卡特在1978年宣布与中国建交时的郑重承诺：
"The United States recognizes the government of the People's Republic of China as the sole legal government of China."
“美国承认，中华人民共和国政府是中国唯一的合法政府。”
"The Government of the United States of America acknowledges the Chinese position that there is but one China and Taiwan is part of China."
“美国政府承认中国的立场，即只有一个中国，台湾是中国的一部分。”
中美建交40多年来，美国在台湾问题上反复横跳，公然违背一个中国原则、中美三个联合公报，背信弃义，令人不齿。
而很多西方人似乎还不理解为什么中国人对于佩洛西窜台反应如此剧烈。看来，美西方需要好好补一下台湾历史。

台湾自古以来就属于中国，这是不可否认的历史，更是流淌在中华民族血液里的共识。或许美国对此没有强烈意识，毕竟这远早于美国建国时间。
Taiwan has belonged to China since ancient times, something on which there is consensus in China.
台湾被中华文化典籍记载，可以追溯到公元前10世纪。儒家经典《尚书》上的“岛夷”，就是今天的台湾；而到唐、宋、元代，台湾被称为“琉球”。
中国历代政府在台湾先后建立了行政机构（administrative bodies），行使管辖权（jurisdiction）。
早在公元12世纪中叶，宋朝政府就派兵驻守澎湖。到1885年，清政府正式划台湾为单一行省。1945年中国人民抗日战争胜利后，中国政府重新恢复了台湾省的行政管理机构。
As early as the mid-12th century the Song Dynasty set up a garrison in Penghu, an archipelago in the Taiwan Straits. In 1885, the Qing government formally made Taiwan a full province. After the Chinese people's victory in the war against Japanese aggression in 1945, the Chinese government reinstated its administrative authority in Taiwan province.
此外，自古以来，海峡两岸中国人民为反对外国侵占台湾进行了长期不懈的斗争。

1662年，郑成功驱逐了盘踞台湾的荷兰殖民者。1894年，日本发动侵略中国的“甲午战争”。翌年，清政府签订《马关条约》，割让台湾。1931年，日本再次发动对华侵略战争，中国人民经过14年艰苦的抗日战争，于1945年取得了最后的胜利，收复了台湾。

In 1662, General Zheng Chenggong expelled Dutch colonialists from Taiwan. In 1894, Japan launched a war of aggression against China. In the ensuing year, as a result of the fall of the Qing rulers, the government was forced to sign the Treaty of Shimonoseki, ceding Taiwan to Japan. In 1931, Japan once again waged a war against China. After 14 years of grueling resistance, the Chinese people won final victory and recovered the lost territory of Taiwan in 1945.

放眼全球，
国际社会公认台湾属于中国。

二战即将胜利时，1943年，中、美、英三国签署的《开罗宣言》
（Cairo Declaration）
指出：“日本所窃取于中国之土地，例如满洲、台湾、澎湖列岛等，归还中国。”
1945年《波茨坦公告》
（The Potsdam Proclamation）
又重申：“开罗宣言之条件必将实施”。


1971年联合国大会第2758号决议，也承认中华人民共和国政府的代表是中国在联合国组织的
唯一合法代表。
中国人对佩洛西窜访台湾反应过度了吗？
当然没有，中国的反应和反制措施是中国对美方这一背信弃义无耻行径的合理表达。
美国国会众议长佩洛西执意窜访中国台湾地区，
严重违反一个中国原则和中美三个联合公报规定，粗暴干涉中国内政。
Pelosi's visit was both totally unnecessary and utterly provocative, made in flagrant disregard to China's strong opposition. The visit seriously violated the one-China principle that the US says it respects, and the provisions of the three China-US Joint Communiques, wantonly meddling in China's internal affairs.
几十年来，美国在台湾问题上反复插手、背信弃义。

1972年，美国总统尼克松访问中国，中美双方在上海发表了联合公报。公报称：“美国方面声明：美国认识到，在台湾海峡两边的所有中国人都认为只有一个中国，
台湾是中国的一部分
。”

In 1972, the two countries issued a communique in Shanghai saying that: "The US side declared: the United States acknowledges that all Chinese on either side of the Taiwan Straits maintain there is but one China and that Taiwan is a part of China."

中美两国正式建立外交关系时，中美建交联合公报也声明：“
美利坚合众国承认中华人民共和国政府是中国的唯一合法政府
”。“
美利坚合众国政府承认中国的立场，即只有一个中国，台湾是中国的一部分
”。

The Communique on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations said that: "The United States of America recognizes the Government of the People's Republic of China as the sole legal government of China." And "The Government of the United States of America acknowledges the Chinese position that there is but one China and Taiwan is part of China."
但是，中美建交不过三个月，美国国会竟通过了所谓《与台湾关系法》。美国政府根据这个关系法，继续向台湾出售武器和干涉中国内政。
Regrettably, three months later the US Congress adopted a piece of legislation called the Taiwan Relations Act. Invoking this legislation, the US has continued its arms sales to Taiwan.
为解决美国售台武器问题，中美两国政府通过谈判，于1982年8月达成协议，发表了有关中美关系的第三个联合公报。

然而，几十年来美国政府不断发生违反公报的行为。1992年，美国政府甚至决定向台湾出售150架F-16型高性能战斗机……美国政府的横加干涉已经严重影响中美关系，深深伤害了中国人民的感情。
8月10日，国务院台湾事务办公室、国务院新闻办公室发表《台湾问题与新时代中国统一事业》白皮书，进一步重申台湾是中国的一部分的事实和现状，展现中国共产党和中国人民追求祖国统一的坚定意志和坚强决心，阐述中国共产党和中国政府在新时代推进实现祖国统一的立场和政策。
The Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council and the State Council Information Office of the People's Republic of China published a white paper titled "The Taiwan Question and China's Reunification in the New Era" on Aug 10, 2022.
The white paper was released to reiterate the fact that Taiwan is part of China, to demonstrate the resolve of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the Chinese people and their commitment to national reunification, and to emphasize the position and policies of the CPC and the Chinese government in the new era.
白皮书指出，台湾自古属于中国的历史经纬清晰、法理事实清楚。而中华民族的历史和文化以及中华民族伟大复兴的时和势，决定了祖国完全统一进程不可阻挡。
“和平统一、一国两制”是我们解决台湾问题的基本方针，也是实现国家统一的最佳方式；按照“一国两制”实现两岸和平统一，将给中国发展进步和中华民族伟大复兴奠定新的基础，将给台湾经济社会发展创造巨大机遇，将给广大台湾同胞带来实实在在的好处。
台湾问题是事关中国主权和统一的重大原则问题，不是所谓民主问题。
The Taiwan question is all about China's sovereignty and unity, and has nothing to do with democracy. 
如果美方真的尊崇民主，就应该在台湾问题上倾听和尊重占世界人口五分之一的中国人民的共同心声。
If the US truly values democracy and people's wishes it cannot ignore the wishes of 1.4 billion people, one-fifth of the world's population.
