用朴实又略带冷幽默的语言，90后UP主唐浩（网名“衣戈猜想”）在视频《回村三天，二舅治好了我的精神内耗》中讲述了二舅少时意外残疾、却坚韧生活的故事。

A video of a 66-year-old disabled carpenter has gone viral on Chinese social media after his nephew Tang Hao shared the man's inspiring life story on short-video platform Bilibili on Monday.
Using the name "Yigecaixiang", Tang uses witty storytelling in the 11-minute video to convey the experiences of Erjiu, which means second-oldest maternal uncle. The man, who uses a cane due to a longtime disability, is portrayed as a common hero who never bows to life's difficulties, but strives instead to lead a full and meaningful life.
一夜之间，这则11分钟的视频成了现象级作品，刷爆朋友圈，B站全站排行第一、播放量近3000万，相关多个话题登顶微博热搜榜，被一些网友赞为“今年看过最高级的视频”。
The film is currently the most watched video on Bilibili, China's top video app, and has attracted over 28 million views and 188,000 comments as of Thursday morning. Commentators online said the short film was “healing” and “inspiring” and called the old man an “ordinary but great” person.
“二舅”的故事为什么戳人心
66岁的二舅年少时是一位学习成绩突出的“天才少年”，因为一场高烧打针“落下了残疾”。意志消沉后的第三年，二舅用了三天“看”会了木匠工艺，从此承包了全村的木匠活。
Erjiu was a bright kid whose life took a dramatic turn when a botched treatment he received for a high fever left him with a lame leg. After the medical mishap, the man learned carpentry and used the skill to support himself and his family.
两个妹妹出嫁时所有的家具，都是二舅一个人完成的，“你能想象在八十年代，一个山村的女孩子结婚的时候能拥有这样的一套家具是多么梦幻的事情吗？”
When Erjiu's two young sisters got married, he made them furniture, which was a luxurious gift for young women living in the countryside in the 1980s.
二舅一生未婚，领养了一个叫“宁宁”的女孩。宁宁结婚，二舅掏光了半辈子积蓄给宁宁买房子，却开心得要死。
Remaining single his whole life, Erjiu adopted an abandoned girl in the village and raised her. He even saved a large sum of money from his meager income to finance her marriage.
这几年二舅木工活也不做了，全职照顾年近九旬的姥姥。他还热心帮助村里人修理各种农具、家具电器、车辆，村里人开玩笑叫他“歪子”，但每个人都爱他、离不开他。
Erjiu is now a full-time caregiver for his mother and a handyman in the village. Tang said his uncle is always ready to help fellow villagers repair any broken items such as furniture, electric appliances, door locks, stoves, or toys for children.
“是二舅活得好，不是我写得好”
唐浩用“庄敬自强”来形容二舅，认为在二舅身上，有我们这个民族“所有的平凡、美好与强悍”。
正因如此，许多人从视频里看到了自己的三姑四叔五舅六婶的影子。他们勤劳善良，有一技之长，面对逆境坚韧乐观。正是这种精神支撑着我们这个民族数千年绵延不绝。
Erjiu's story of self-reliance and tenacity not only moved Tang, but it's also touched the hearts of millions of online viewers. Erjiu's story epitomizes the lives of millions of average people, and the story of his experience resonates with the public and inspires people to admire his strong spirit, which also inspires people to move forward.

有网友盛赞唐浩拍出了《活着》，唐浩却表示，与诸多名家相比，自己只是雕虫小技，他在接受新华社采访时说，“那是因为二舅活得好，不是我写得好。”
Commenting on the unexpected popularity of his video, Tang said: “It may have attracted a lot of views, but that is because my uncle lived his life well, not because I wrote a decent story.”
据唐浩发博文透露，目前“二舅和姥姥已不在小山村”，希望大家对二舅的所有关切，
“起于线上，止于相忘”。
