为什么我们选择在 2022 年继续在线？
就像所有厌倦了在线课程的人一样，Youth4AM 很乐意像 2019 年一样提供面对面的课程。然而，为了吸引全市最优秀的助教，并以同样的最高标准管理备考营，我们决定2022 SHSAT 备考营继续在线学习。

正式阶段：4 小时/天、5 天/周、连续5 周
2022 年 7 月 5 日至 2022 年 8 月 5 日：
周一至周五，上午 9:00 至下午 1:00
申请者要求：
1. 目前的六年级和七年级学生
2. 最低 GPA 为 85
3. 2021 年州考英文和数学之和成绩至少为 7.0
4. 上课必须打开摄像头
5. 不能缺课包括必须参加所有活动

费用：

Youth4AM is the ONLY SHSAT Prep that for JUST $4.58/hour, students are taught by professional teachers with 20+ years of SHSAT Prep experiences and 1 on 1 tutored by brilliant teacher assistants (TAs) from top high schools around NYC (such as Stuyvesant, Bronx Science, Hunter, Townsend Harris, etc.) at the top of their class (minimum GPA requirement is 92).
It's the ONLY program recognized and/or certified by 10+ local elected officials because of its community-service-driven, not profit-driven nature.  It isprovided by the New York Residents Alliance (NYRA), a federally registered 501(3c) nonprofit organization.  All staff are NON PAID volunteers who are committed to safeguarding and striving for Chinese Americans’ equal rights in education and safety.   TAs are motivated to give back to the community by helping students.

Why did we choose to continue online in 2022?
Like everyone who is tired of online classes, Youth4AM would love to offer in person classes just as it did in 2019.    However in order to attract the best TAs all over the city and to manage the camp with the SAME highest standard, we decided to continue online learning for our 2022 SHSAT Summer Prep Program.   
Such a decision is not merely based on the fact that most, if not all,  summer programs offered by top universities are also maintained to be online in 2022, but MOST IMPORTANTLY, our results in 2020 & 2021 proved that 1 on 1 monitoring, following up and tutoring is the BEST way to maximize the learning of knowledge taught by the experienced teacher.   
● All students are required to have their camera on and TAs monitor their behaviors
● 1 on 1 follow up to ensure students complete homework on time and provide assistance
● Deep analysis about students’ individualized strengths and weaknesses
● 1 on 1 tutoring on personalized weak topics for maximum improvement
● Weekly communication to parents for students’ performance
● Report card with personalized recommendation for improvements.
Schedule:
Warm Up Sessions: 4 hours/day, 5 Saturdays
May 28, 2022 to June 25, 2022
Every Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Formal Sessions: 4 hours/day, 5 days/week, 5 weeks
July 5, 2022 to August 5, 2022:
Mondays through Fridays, 9:00AM to 1:00PM
Eligibility:
1. Current 6th and 7th graders
2. Minimum GPA of 85
3. Combined State Test score of at least 7.0 in 2021
4. Cameras must be turned on during teacher and group review sessions
5. Attendance at all activities
6. If you do not meet Criteria 1-4, we still encourage you to apply, and we will let you know if we can still offer you a spot in the program.
Cost:
This 120-hour camp only charges $550 ($4.58/hour), which covers the cost for all learning materials and an original quality Youth4AM T-shirt, thanks to volunteers at the New York Residents Alliance (NYRA).   In comparison, the average 75-hour (3 hours/day, 5 days/week, 5 weeks long) SHSAT Prep camp costs at least $1000 (>=$13.33/hour).
However, we would be extremely grateful if you’re willing to donate. Should you pay more than $550, the amount you paid over $550 is treated as a donation, which will be qualified for 50% tax-deductible because NYRA is a federally registered 501(3c) nonprofit organization.
