The Digital Ag Research Lab at

the University of Wisconsin and Madison

Our interdisciplinary team at the University of Wisconsin seeks a postdoctoral scholar to apply novel remote sensing techniques to improve estimates of crop yields. Specifically, our project seeks to use geostationary ("weather") satellites to monitor plant productivity at half-hourly timesteps in U.S. agroecosystems, and to link these observations to crop yield using Machine Learning techniques. Two years of support is available at $56,000/year, negotiable.
