More than 16,600 new cases of COVID were confirmed in Israel on Wednesday, marking a record one-day high since the outbreak of the pandemic. 
Once again the world is scrutating the Israel Covid data. 
We are getting Very different dynamics on Delta wave: ICU peaked August 29 38% below Alpha wave ICU peak, deaths 68% below Alpha wave, only similarity is the rate of vaccination at peak.  
Are we anywhere close to the incidence peak? Hopefully as all children and students had to test before going back to school.

Israel Plan Organization is bridging these two pionners by introducing the daily work produced by the volunteer team of Solidarity Covid – Expats in China. The work started in Shanghai January 2020 to inform the expat community of China on the coronavirus outbreak on the initiative of l’Union des Français de l’Etranger – Shanghai

Our mission is to enhance the knowledge on the dynamics of the pandemic by curating exclusive data sets / Analysis tools based on public data sources. We were the very first observers to offer the Hubei / out of Hubei breakdown of new cases. In post-Wuhan phase we are the only ones curating in a consistent way the jigsaw puzzle of China data by province on local clusters and imported cases: cluster from Day one to last new case accross prefectures, combining asymptomatic and confirmed, tracking severe cases, origin of imported cases and demographics when available.

The surge in imported cases in the last 6 months is largely linked to cases from Southeast Asia. Flights from Cambodia have been reduced via the circuit breaker mechanism, but this does not apply to land entry cases from Myanmar to Yunnan (and Laos as well) which account for the entire increase and have triggeredthe local "chronic" Ruili cluster.
