  • 1+ years of mobile software engineering experience
    Preferred:

  • Strong CS fundamentals
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Java and Android expertise

Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct in-depth security reviews of applications, back-end services, and business integrations, as well as build tools for a secure development lifecycle 
  • Design and implement secure solutions for authentication and authorization, networking, orchestration, deployment configuration, logging, system hardening, threat hunting and debugging of cloud services
  • Investigate events, triage potential incidents, and work closely with multiple Snap Inc. teams during incidents to drive response efforts
  • Be a champion for security and user privac
  • Strong Security Engineering fundamentals in several of the following areas: network security, application security, cryptography, authentication & authorization, vulnerabilities, os internals, etc.
  • Good problem solving skills
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently pursuing a BS/BA degree (or equivalent years of experience) in computer science or a related technical field or equivalent years of experience, graduating no earlier than December 2021
  • While security engineering skills are preferred, we welcome software engineers with an interest in security

  • Experience with mobile apps and/or databases
