Summary
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Program manage cross-team, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Drive architecture and integration decisions and timelines with dependency teams.
  • Interface with engineering managers and engineers to drive technical solutions, estimate work efforts, define milestones and manage resources.
  • Track progress, resolve dependencies, evaluate risks and communicate status to management and project stakeholders.
  • Engage and energize the project teams to achieve aggressive goals.
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be currently enrolled and graduating in a full-time, degree-seeking program and in the process of obtaining a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, MBA a nice to have
  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills
  • Ability to write scripts or snippets of code preferred

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work in iOS, Swift and XCode and get familiarity with the integration of network services
  • Design / give functional and technical direction to a solution
  • Write clean code, exhibit software craftsmanship
  • Perform testing at all levels (unit, integration, UI and acceptance)
  • Integrate closely w/ colleagues in San Jose and Portland

  • Identify project risks, quantify risk/benefit relationships and provide alternative solutions as well as risk mitigation

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related major 
  • Applied experience building IOS apps
  • Comfortable with rapid development cycles, tight schedules, tight integration with QA and product management
  • Good understanding of design patterns, and experience working in a layered architecture.
  • Ability to work independently and the confidence to question where necessary.
