In 2020, COVID-19 spread globally. School-age children have been significantly impacted. Many of them have to do online learning at home and cannot stay at the school campus for various activities. Parties are canceled; music concerts are on hold; gym sports are closed.  Even many outdoor activities are prohibited. Social distancing has been making their life very hard.
Global Youth Philanthropy(GYP) is committed to building a public welfare innovation platform for young people worldwide and cultivating future global citizens with servant leadership and responsibility. At the beginning of the new year 2021, we produced a youth charity song, "The Sun Rises," created by three teenagers from China and the United States, reflecting the impact of the pandemic from the perspective of young people, as well as their faith and hope for the bright future. We target to recruit young singers of different ages, races, and countries worldwide to sing and perform in this record. The song will be released globally and will be performed live in public welfare activities after the pandemic. As the song says, "We will join our hands, and we will sing along; Let the music start, and we will never be apart!"
Young talented singers from all over the world are welcome to participate in this program. Please submit a video of you singing this entire song for the audition. Our volunteers will audit the recordings and select the soloists and chorus singers accordingly. You will be contacted to sing a part if you pass the audition.
