9月28日晚，NYU Alumni Association在纽约大学Washington Square校区的Kimmel Center举办「2018年志愿者卓越服务颁奖典礼」。
该颁奖典礼是为NYU年度最佳校友活动及杰出个人颁奖，表彰本年度在全球举办的近700场校友活动中最能代表NYU精神的活动及个人。
NYU上海校友会出品的项目——My NYU Stories（NYU校友故事）项目荣获【2018年度最佳创新】奖项。
上海校友会代表符啸愚（Tandon‘10）接受校长Andrew Hamilton和NYUAA主席Brian Levine的授奖，并发表获奖演说。

Thank you, President Hamilton.
Hi everyone. I am Rico Fu, a Tandon alumns, Class of 2010. I am the Communication Leader of NYU Alumni Club in Shanghai, also the editor of My NYU Stories.
The NYU Alumni Club in Shanghai came up this idea of having young alumni interview senior alumni, to hear their NYU stories, and how that have shaped who they are today. We are very fortunate that over the past two years, 20 stories have been written and shared. On social media alone, these contents have been read more than 15,000 times. I constantly hear from our young alumni about how inspired and proud they are when they read these articles. 
On behalf of the NYU Alumni Club in Shanghai, I want to thank the Alumni Association and the Award Committee for recognizing this program and our work. Special thanks to Xin Wei, Yolanda Silva and the Communications Team for your partnership and support. I have brought copies of this booklet with me all the way from Shanghai, please come to take one if you are interested in checking it out.

在此，NYU上海校友会再次感谢所有的受访嘉宾和记者校友们，是你们的参与与付出，才促成“NYU校友故事”项目的成功！
在表彰大会上，我们也通过其他嘉宾的介绍，获悉了全球范围内的NYU校友活动情况：

  • This past year, we had an 18% increase in alumni volunteers, and with the help of those 2,600 alumni volunteers
  • Executed more than 600 alumni events with nearly 25,000 attendees
  • Expanded NYU Alumni Global Day of Service significantly, with 493 volunteers at 41 global sites completing 1,467 service hours for a projected economic impact of $35,000
  • Increased our focus in regional events, resulting in an increase of 10% attendance at global events, 6% at US Regional events, and 10% in young alumni attendance at events
  • And created four new Alumni Clubs, bringing the total to 87 active Alumni Clubs
此外，也特别恭喜NYU东京校友会，其举办的“2017年亚洲校友大会”荣获本次【年度最佳活动】奖项。
