这道题目可以延伸到「新闻」「媒体」「科技」「社交网络」等诸多话题，好好准备一道题，上了考场可以灵活应变。
针对这一题目，TFT 老师从优质外文网站里精选并改编了两段「必备语料」+两段「补充语料」，研习这几段语料，再也不怕遇到类似话题了。

The disadvantages of getting information from different news source.

Admittedly, sometimes using various sources to get information will help us in guaranteeing our information. The information that people get from one source may be not reliable because of the authors’ mistakes. However, under such condition, people will suffer from information overwhelm. People have a limit to the amount of information they can absorb. If you throw too many stimuli at them, their mind will start ignoring things. Take my experience as an example. I searched for TOEFL test preparation methods online last week. With social media, e-mail, webpages, mobile apps, etc. all spilling data into my brain, I felt confused and was unable to make a decision.

The advantages of getting information from different news source.
Nowadays, people have many ways to collect and comprehend information from a variety of sources like books, the Internet, newspapers, televisions, etc. But in order to be well-informed, does a person have to get information from so many different news sources? From my point of view, I totally concur that if someone yearns to be a knowledgeable person, he/she must gather information from different news sources. First and foremost, using various sources to get information will help us in guaranteeing our information. Sometimes, the information that people get from one source is not reliable because of the authors’ mistakes. Especially, it’s worth noting that many Internet sources are less dependable than print sources. Because it’s relatively inexpensive to put material on the Web, it’s easy for private individuals to post their unverified opinions on websites. In addition, it’s also cost-effective for corporations or other organizations to post websites that appear to be factual but actually serve to promote the group’s agenda. By comparing the same information from different sources, receivers can know the truth.
