B站2019年度弹幕出炉！“AWSL”荣登榜首，你知道是什么意思吗？

12月4日，哔哩哔哩B站公布了2019年度弹幕，“AWSL”荣登榜首。

此外，“泪目”、“名场面”、“妙啊”、“逮虾户”、“欢迎回家” 、“注入灵魂”、“正片开始”、“标准结局”等弹幕也入选了十大弹幕热词。

暴露年龄的时候到了，你知道“AWSL”是什么意思吗？

AWSL

对于今年的年度弹幕AWSL，B站官方是这样解释的：

在过去一年中，B站用户总共发送超14 亿次弹幕。作为榜单上的状元，年度弹幕“AWSL” 被发送3296443次。

Among the over 1.4 billion Danmus，or "bullet comments"，sent by Bilibili users in the past year, AWSL appeared roughly 3.29 million times.

“AWSL”源自“啊，我死了”的拼音首字母缩写。

The word captures the initial of “A, Wo Si Le” in Mandarin, which can be loosely translated into “Ah, I died.”

B站表示，当我们感受到“幸福、快乐、兴奋”等各种喜爱之情时，会产生强烈的情感冲击，简洁的“AWSL”正抒发了当代年轻人面对喜爱内容时“被狠狠击中”的情感体验。

According to Bilibili, the catchphrase represents a mixture of fervid emotions encompassing happiness and excitement, and it conveys the strong emotional experience of “being hit hard” when the younger generation expresses a deep fondness of certain things and contents.

AWSL肇始于粉丝对于YouTube知名虚拟主播白上吹雪的热情追捧。当粉丝的激动情绪积累至巅峰，就会在一句“あ、私は死んている”（A Watashiwa Shintei Lu ，即AWSL）中释放。

有趣的是，“あ、私は死んている”翻译成中文就是“啊，我死了”。AWSL的缩写竟在中日两国具有相同含义，实现了跨地域和语言的情绪共振。

今年是B站第三年进行年度弹幕盘点。2017年，B站首次公布了年度弹幕“囍”。去年，“真实”成为年度弹幕词。

过去十年里，弹幕不仅成为了B站社区重要的互动方式，由此衍生出的弹幕文化，也成为记录年轻群体及时代变迁的独特符号。

B站的追番文化

弹幕

弹幕（"danmu", or "bullet comments" ）是在网络上观看视频时弹出的评论性字幕。

国内首先引进弹幕的网站为AcFun，然后是Bilibili，此后，弹幕作为视频网站逐步被发扬光大。

Danmu is a loanword from Japanese animation circle, depicting a user conversation system where time-synced comments are overlaid directly on top of the video as it plays.
弹幕源自日本动漫圈，指一种用户发言系统，实时评论会直接显示在视频画面上。

ACG和二次元

ACG是Anime, Comic and Games（动漫、漫画和游戏）的首字母缩写。

还有一个类似的词叫做MAG，是Manga, Anime and Games，而Manga特指日本漫画。

这个特定的虚拟世界往往被称之为“二次元”，英语里只能先说成Two-dimensional space，如果要再解释，其实就是深爱ACG这个亚文化（subculture）的人及其精神世界。

追番

解释这个词，其实跟回答“把大象放进冰箱需要几步”是一个道理。

首先，“番”来自日文“アニメ番組”，指连载的动画/电视剧集。

英文可以这么理解：

TV shows that come in multiple episodes and sometimes multiple seasons.

其次，追”番“的意思是：follow （上面所介绍的这些） series……

好了，由此扩展一下，如果要表示“疯狂追剧、刷剧”，这该怎么说？

答案是：binge watching/binge viewing。

Netflix几年前做过的一项调查来界定binge watching，结果如下：

73% of people define binge-watching as "watching between 4-6 episodes or more of the same TV show in one sitting."
73%的人定义binge-watching是一口气看同一部剧的4-6集甚至更多集……

up主

Up是upload的简写，意思就是上传东西。

那么“up主”就是上传东西的那位小主咯，网友也将其戏称为“阿婆主”。

英文中，up主可以粗略地理解为content curators, who upload their works online，即内容创作和管理者。
