2019 China Apprenticeship Program
The Apprenticeship program is a 9-month program designed to provide a realistic career experience with the firm and exposure to top professionals across functions. Over the course of the program you will be provided the necessary training and also learn a great deal from your colleagues and teammates. You will also get opportunities to meet senior colleagues and continue building your own professional network. You will develop essential knowledge and skills, and it is an outstanding first step towards building a dynamic, long term career with us.
OPERATIONS INTERN OPPORTUNITY
Operations
Banking Operations
Banking Operations deliver cash management, trade finance, liquidity and escrow services that help clients manage their working capital and liquidity challenges efficiently. You will get to work alongside experienced colleagues, allowing you to understand a wide range of Cash and Trade Products. 
Markets & Investor Services Operations 
Markets and Investor Services Operations provides middle and back office operational support across all asset classes including equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities. Services provided encompass securities and derivatives processing, asset servicing, mutual fund and hedge fund administration, clearing, settlement and collateral management, vaulting and movement of physical commodities, reconciliations and billing support for clients and partners in over 100 global markets.
Commodity Operations 
Commodity Operations support offshore physical commodities trading. The team interact closely with Sales & Trading based in Singapore and UK, and manage the relationships of Asia clients and vendors at an operational level. As an intern, you will gain exposure to end-to-end trade life cycle, including contracts and pricings, hedging using derivative products, storing commodities in global warehouses, physical title release and various trade settlement solutions, etc.; you will also have opportunities to work on operational process improvement and digitalization.
Wholesale Client On-boarding (WCOB)
The Wholesale Client On-Boarding (WCOB) team is a global team with locations in major locations such as New York, Delaware, London, Bournemouth, Hong Kong and Singapore. The team functions in close partnership with Sales, Operations, Credit, Legal and Compliance to ensure efficient and timely on-boarding to the J.P. Morgan infrastructure.  WCOB plays a critical role in introducing new clients to our organization as well as ensuring full due diligence is done with respect to new and existing relationships. This team is responsible for the enforcement of controls associated with Know Your Client (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) regulatory requirements. 
Project Management
Project Management roles offer challenging opportunities to think out of box and apply strategic and commercial mind-set to resolve efficiencies. You will have opportunities to interact with technology and users cross border groups within the Firm to re-engineer process flows.
About You
We're looking for results-oriented individuals with enthusiasm for developing solutions that optimize business operations.

FINANCE & BUSINESS MANAGEMENT INTERN OPPORTUNITY
Finance & Business Management
Legal Entity Controller (LEC)
  • Assist with routine process, e.g. reporting system health check, FX position reconciliation and VAT file uploading.
  • Perform analytical review to identify the key drivers for PL and Balance Sheet and significant misstatement, if any.
  • Assist in monitoring of general ledger on key account balances and follow up with support teams on long outstanding items.
  • Participate in cross functional projects, e.g. SAP ledger system migration, assets and headcounts transfer for project Fenix, support LEC audit and markets projects, etc.
Business Management (BM) / Project Management (PM)
  • Assist with project management work, including preparing presentations for senior stakeholders and presenting materials to working groups.
  • Perform analysis work to document related information about appointed project and form part of the project materials.
  • Participate in cross functional projects.

摩根大通扩招，留学生的机会更大
去年4月，中国证监会公布了《外商投资证券公司管理办法》，允许外资持股比例最高可达 51%！
这表明外资投行有望拿到全资独立牌照，在大陆开展IBD业务了。
J.P.Morgan 5月就立马向中国证监会递交了申请，紧接着，6月初J.P.Morgan宣布完成了架构调整，一系列举动的目的就是为了吸引人才，扩大中国市场。

而据路透社消息：
未来2至3年，J.P.Morgan将在中国增聘40%至50%人手，就是为目前业务增长以及为即将在内地设立的控股证券公司做准备。中国也将成为摩根大通亚太区最大市场，份额可达40%。
摩根大通偏爱哪些学生？
Deal Logic最新发布的投行League Table中，按照总体投行业务收入排名，J.P.Morgan超越Gold-man Sachs成为第一。而J.P.Morgan的平均总薪酬为46.1万美元，也位居九大投行榜首。
对于想要进顶尖投行的留学生来说，更要把握住这次良机。

据eFinancialCareers职业调查显示，在摩根大通的雇员中，哥大学生人数最多，紧随其后的是伦敦经济学院、常春藤，相比高盛只喜欢招收美国精英大学的偏好，摩根大通的招聘更开放，也会雇佣一些亚洲大学的优秀学生。其中，香港大学位列摩根大通雇佣大学的排行榜前五，新加坡国立大学跻身前十。

在美国的摩根大通总部，当地大学的雇佣比例居高不下。宾夕法尼亚大学排在第二，康奈尔大学、哈佛大学和纽约大学前五名的其余位置。常春藤，达特茅斯大学，斯坦福大学和耶鲁大学都未能进入前十。相反，乔治敦大学和波士顿大学为美国摩根大通(J.P. Morgan)提供了更多的金融人才。

面对更开放的摩根大通，你的成功几率有可能会更高！
全球录取率只有 1.7%，如何拿下？
机会虽好，不见得每个人都能把握住，要知道摩根大通的全球录取率只有 1.7%。
据摩根大通官网公布，前两年摩根大通亚太区（不包括印度）招聘的应届毕业生和实习生中有 39% 来自非金融、会计或商科背景。在中国，有 28% 来自数学、人力资源、公共事务、能源管理、英语语言文学、心理学等专业。
当然，这类岗位多为实习生管培生之类的，在进入公司后会提供完善周到的培训。当然，target school的前提条件也很重要。
那么，除了成绩单、高含金量的证书之外，想要进入摩根大通，你还需要：

在英语上下苦工
投行的核心业务，无论一级还是二级市场，语言是一个很重要的前提。除了日常沟通流利外，还要能合理组织语言，高效率并且准确地表达。坦白讲，虽然留学生在英语上比国内学生更有优势，但能达到这个水平的留学生并不多。

不要为了工作签证选择中后台
这是个老生常谈的问题，不论是不是大公司，为国际生提供工作签证的机会并不多，想要在美国求职，甚至拿到H1B，你除了运气还需要足够优秀。有很多留学生认为为了签证可以将就自己的职业选择，其实最后会发现自己最好的毕业3年已经浪费。相对来说，在名校读研究生，如果你的目标是去投行业务或者销售交易的前端（front desk），读MBA或者数理/工程类进入顶尖金融名企的机会大一些。

技术面要足够强, 并且学会深度行业理解
过硬的Excel+PPT以及VBA能力是必不可少的，特别对于九大投行以及顶尖的金融企业，需要对一二级市场的动态信手拈来，这都是建立在对行业有深度认知的情况下，以摩根大通的面试真题为例：

2. You’ve been captain of your sports team and are obviously used to being in charge. How will you feel about being at the bottom of the food chainhere?
你是你运动队的队长，并且习惯了管理队伍。如果把你放在队伍的底层，你会有什么感觉？

你同意私募股权低价买入，高价出售的投资模式吗？
4. Can you estimate UK GDP?
你能估计一下英国的GDP吗？
