前段时间在不同场合做了好几场夏校的讲座，收到很多家长的咨询，“要不要上夏校？”“上几个比较好？”“托福成绩不够好，有必要去夏校吗？”
关于夏校的好处和弊端，在讲座和之前的推文里我们也反复分析了。如果条件允许，特写君还是推荐大家至少上一次夏校。
个中原因，首先，夏校申请实际上和美本申请十分相似，都要填表，递交标化成绩和推荐信，有的还要写文书。如果这些步骤自己都曾经亲身经历一遍，到了真正的申请季时也就不会乱了阵脚，也不会出错。
另外，顶尖夏校，申请难度并不亚于美本。撰写夏校文书的过程，是一个非常好的契机让学生整理和反思自己的学习和生活。夏校文书的历练和思考，对于提升学生的自我认知水平和能力有很大帮助。

为了有效帮助未来申请者更好了解和理解“文书”，写出更真是更有力量的作品，我们将ZoomIn王牌文书产品AIR workshop精华浓缩，凝结为短期体验工作坊——BootCamp（申请预备营），迄今已经举办近20场。每一场，学员们都收获满满，不仅得到了申请一手资讯和信(information)，更在这个开放、包容的环境中，有机会真实表达、自由探讨，对自己有了更多的洞察（insight）。

BootCamp这个产品同样对夏校申请者很有帮助。去年我们举行了一场夏校特别版BootCamp，反响热烈。
我们整理了广受欢迎、申请难度中上的大众情人夏校文书题目（见文末）后发现，夏校申请中最常见的问题围绕“why course”展开。要求学生对“我是谁”和“我为什么选择这个课程”进行阐述，并考察学生是否有明确的目标。
以2019康奈尔夏校的题目为例：
