从上头来的智慧
弟兄姊妹们主内平安，今天我们分享的经文来自新约雅各书（James3:13-18）

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such "wisdom" does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice. But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. Peacemakers who sow in peace raise a harvest of righteousness.
你们中间谁是有智慧、有见识的呢？他就当在智慧的温柔上显出他的善行来。你们心里若怀着苦毒的嫉妒和纷争，就不可自夸，也不可说谎话抵挡真道。这样的智慧不是从上头来的，乃是属地的、属情欲的、属鬼魔的。在何处有嫉妒纷争，就在何处有扰乱和各样的坏事。惟独从上头来的智慧，先是清洁，后是和平，温良柔顺，满有怜悯，多结善果，没有偏见，没有假冒。并且使人和平的，是用和平所栽种的义果。
我们先来熟悉一下这段经文：
1、But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts.

二、好，下面我们一起来看一下这段经文里的语法
1、do not boast about it or deny the truth.
boast about（of） sth/v-ing/wh-clause夸耀,吹嘘
e.g. She never boasts about（of）her talent.
她从不夸耀自己的才华。
He boasts of（about） having a fine voice.
他夸耀自己有一副好嗓子。
She often boasts about her children.
她常常夸耀自己的孩子。
He's always boasting about how clever his children are.
他总是自吹他的小孩是多么聪明。
2、For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice。
evil practice 恶习
e.g. Such evil practice cannot be swept away at once.
这种坏事不是一下能扫除干净的。
This evil practice should be wiped out（off） the face of the earth.
这种恶习必须从世界上铲除干净。
三、最后让我们来一起再回顾一下这段经文：

在13-18节里，雅各进一步追问读者：谁能控制自己的舌头呢？我们怎能脱离这恐怖的权势，得以完全呢？雅各在这里的答案：我们需要的，不是倚靠自己的能力；乃是神的智慧。
雅各指出有神智慧和没有神智慧的分别，以此开始他的讨论。真正的智者，特征是有良善的生命，意即合乎耶稣教训的良善的生活方式。人应显出「智慧的温柔」，更好的翻译应是「谦和」。雅各知道教会中一些教师（还有其它信徒）发生争执，不过那些争执跟这里的记载颇不相同。雅各指他们的特征是怀着苦毒的「嫉妒」和「自私的野心」，他们可能称他们的嫉妒为「热心」，正如非尼哈的热心一样（民二十五10）。热心是好的，但他们的热心却非真正出于神，因为它没有温柔的特征，根本是掩饰了的嫉妒。雅各接着说，这绝不是从神而来的智慧。有灵若感动人作这些事，这灵必不是属天，乃是「属地的」、属世的、属今生的。这灵也是「属情欲的」。这错谬的智慧的灵，不仅是属世的，其实更是「属鬼魔的」。他们怀着嫉妒和野心，声称自己被神感动，其实是被鬼魔激动。
唯一真正有效的防御措施，足以抗衡这错谬的智慧和舌头的罪恶，就是神的智慧。雅各列出这种真智慧的一些特征，跟保罗说的圣灵果子（加五22-23）很相似。神的智慧是「清洁」，意即人真诚顺服神，不怀着扭曲的动机去追求圣洁。神的智慧是「和平」的，意即在教会中制造和睦。神的智慧是「温良」的，意即不好争竞的。神的智慧是「柔顺」；指一个人愿意学习，愿意改过，或乐意听从敬虔领袖的带领。神的智慧是「满有怜悯，多结善果」，指的是慈惠捐输。这是雅各所重视的。神当然常常满心怜悯，乐于赐予，所以满有神智慧的信徒，也必满心怜悯、乐善好施。最后，神的智慧是「没有偏见，没有假冒」，指人单单跟随神，不像一章18节「心怀二意」的人。「没有假冒」指人的行为真诚，没有伪装。
