言语上的完全
弟兄姊妹们主内平安，今天我们分享的经文来自新约雅各书（James3:1-6）
Not many of you should presume to be teachers, my brothers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. We all stumble in many ways. If anyone is never at fault in what he says, he is a perfect man, able to keep his whole body in check. When we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we can turn the whole animal. Or take ships as an example. Although they are so large and are driven by strong winds, they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go. Likewise the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

我的弟兄们，不要多人作师傅，因为晓得我们要受更重的判断。原来我们在许多事上都有过失；若有人在话语上没有过失，他就是完全人，也能勒住自己的全身。我们若把嚼环放在马嘴里，叫它顺服，就能调动它的全身。看哪，船只虽然甚大，又被大风催逼，只用小小的舵，就随着掌舵的意思转动。这样，舌头在百体里也是最小的，却能说大话。看哪，最小的火能点着最大的树林。舌头就是火，在我们百体中，舌头是个罪恶的世界，能污秽全身，也能把生命的轮子点起来，并且是从地狱里点着的。
我们先来熟悉一下这段经文：

presume英 [prɪ'zjuːm] vt.假定；推测；
strictly英 ['strɪktli] adv. 严格地；完全地
2、they are steered by a very small rudder wherever the pilot wants to go.

二、好，下面我们一起来看一下这段经文里的语法
1、Not many of you should presume to be teachers
presume假定；推测；姑且认定; 越权行事；利用
(1) presume既可用作不及物动词,也可用作及物动词。用作及物动词时,可接名词、代词、动词不定式或that从句作宾语,还可接以“(to be+) adj. ”充当补足语的复合宾语。可用于被动结构。
e.g. You had better presume no such thing.
你最好不要这样设想。
We presume to get in all the crops by the end of this month.
我们拟定在月底收完庄稼。
I presume that someone is presuming a joke.
我猜是有人在开玩笑。
Almost everybody presumed the story true.
绝大多数人以为那个传闻是可靠的。
(2)presume用作不及物动词时,常与on〔upon〕连用表示“不正当地利用〔滥用〕”“指望”。
presume on〔upon〕 sth不正当地利用〔滥用〕;
e.g. Take care that you don't presume on my feelings.
注意不要滥用我的感情。
He presumes on his strength.
他自恃力气大。
2、Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.
set on fire放火;使燃烧;
e.g. Dozens of people have been injured and many vehicles set on fire .
很多人受了伤，多辆车起火。
A post office was set on fire and vehicles were stoned by looters.
抢劫犯放火烧了一家邮局，并用石头砸车。
Pride, Envy, and Avarice are the three sparks that have set these hearts on fire.
骄傲、妒恨和贪婪好比三颗星火，使一切人的心熊熊燃烧。
A spark set the woods on fire. The dry wood blazed up at the touch of a match.
一点火星使整座森林烧了起来。干柴用火柴一点就燃烧起来。
三、最后让我们来一起再回顾一下这段经文：

如果有人能在话语上完全，能在话语上没有过失，他就是完全的人。可见，控制言语对一个人来说是何等重要。为什么这样说呢？主耶稣曾经说“入口的不能污秽人，唯有出口的能污秽人。”就是说，入口的，就是吃到肚子里的食物，经过消化，排了出来，它不会污秽人。但是出口的呢？出口的是话语，它的源头是人的心思。人的心思里充满什么，就透过言语表达出来。所以经文说“在话语上完全”、“在话语上没有过失”，就是要在心思上、在内在意念上纯全、没有过失，这是何等的难啊。
　　雅各举了三个例子来说明舌头—言语的重要作用。第一个例子，如果你把一个嚼环放在马嘴里，你要叫这匹马顺服，它不能不顺服。虽然马的力气很大，但就是用那小小的的嚼环，你就把它制服了。第二个例子说船，船很大，风也很大，驾驶它的时候，在海上或水上就很不稳定。但是你用一个小小的舵，这只船就要听你的话。第三个例子是说小小的火可以点燃整个森林。所以，舌头就像“嚼环”、“舵”和“小小的火”，在身体中虽然只是一个小小的器官，却能对身体甚至整个生命产生非常大的影响。
 “各样的走兽、飞禽、昆虫、水族，本来都可以制服，也已经被人制伏了，唯独舌头没有被人制伏。”为什么舌头没有被人制伏呢？因为人的心思没有被制服。心思不对，舌头只不过是把污秽的心思表达出来而已。如果心思对了，言语自然也是对的，所以归根结底，控制舌头，就是控制我们的心思意念。
让我们来祈求圣灵，时时掌管我们的心思、我们的意念，好让我们能从清洁的心思发出清洁的言语，都能造就人、祝福人。阿门！
