Always Pray And Never Give Up
Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.' "For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care about men, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!'"And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"
1、And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.
plea英 [pliː] n.恳求;申诉;
grant英 [ɡrɑːnt] v. 授予;同意;
justice英 ['dʒʌstɪs] n. 公平;正义;
against英 [ə'ɡenst] prep.
adversary英 ['ædvəsəri] n.
2、so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!'"
eventually英 [ɪ'ventʃuəli] adv.
wear out穿破; 磨损;
1.yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice.
e.g. He kept talking until the meeting was over.
He kept eating/ smiling/ walking.
She keep running
He kept on ringing me up, but I don't want to keep in touch with him any more.

The boy kept watching the passing traffic at the gate.

She kept on raising her hand
He kept on repeating these words over and over.
2.so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!

wear sb/oneself /sth⇔ out
e.g. It wears her out to look after small children for a whole day.
This group of tourists wore me out with complaints about food, hotels and weather.
If you don't stop working, you'll wear yourself out.
I have worn my shirt out, I must get another one.
