Never Boast Except Jesus Christ

(Galatians 6:11-16)

See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand! Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. Not even those who are circumcised obey the law, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast about your flesh. May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything; what counts is a new creation. Peace and mercy to all who follow this rule, even to the Israel of God.

1. See what large letters I use as I write to you with my own hand!
what large letters何等大的信,是what引导的感叹句,可以和how区分使用。
这个句子:The girl is beautiful.

What a beautiful girl she is!

How beautiful the girl is!
what+(a/an)+adj.+n.+主语+谓语+(it is).

How+adj.(adv.)+主语+谓语+(it is).
e.g. What bad weather it is.
What good students they are!
How hot it is today!
How fast he runs!
How time flies!
2.Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are trying to compel you to be circumcised.
make a good impression留个好印象;给人留下好印象
e.g. If you want to make a good impression, it is best to avoid these habits.
The new teacher made a good impression on the student.
Please let me make a good impression on your friend.
3.what counts is a new creation.
e.g. What counts is determination and confidence.
What counts most in life is what you do for others.
