弟兄姊妹们主内平安，今天我们分享的经文来自新约提摩太后书（2 Timothy 2:8-13）

Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel, for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God's word is not chained. Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him; if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us; if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.
你要记念耶稣基督乃是大卫的后裔。他从死里复活，正合乎我所传的福音。我为这福音受苦难，甚至被捆绑，像犯人一样；然而，神的道却不被捆绑。所以我为选民凡事忍耐，叫他们也可以得着那在基督耶稣里的救恩和永远的荣耀。有可信的话说：“我们若与基督同死，也必与他同活；我们若能忍耐，也必和他一同作王；我们若不认他，他也必不认我们。我们纵然失信，他仍是可信的，因为他不能背乎自己。”
我们先来熟悉一下这段经文
1、for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. 
chain英 [tʃeɪn] vt.束缚；用铁链锁住 过去式/过去分词: chained
criminal英 ['krɪmɪnl] n.罪犯
2、 if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us
reign 英 [reɪn] v. 统治；支配
disown英 [dɪs'əʊn] v. 否认；声明同…脱离关系
3、if we are faithless, he will remain faithful, for he cannot disown himself.
faithless英 ['feɪθləs] adj.不忠实的；不可信赖的；

我们一起看一下语法
1、Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David.
descend传下来；遗传
descend可用作及物动词, 也可用作不及物动词,用作不及物动词时,常与介词from连用, 表示 “是…的后代” “从…传下来”, from所接的名词指祖先、祖宗,并不是指父辈。
e.g. He is descended from Confucius.
他是孔子的後裔。
The ring has descended from my great-grandmother.
这枚戒指是我曾祖母传下来的。
His family descends from the first French immigrants.
他这一家是第一批法国移民的后裔。
2、Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him.
(1) trustworthy：adj.可信赖的
e.g. Facts have shown us that he is trustworthy.
事实已经向我们表明他是可信赖的。
I hope he is a trustworthy person, also he has humor and likes outdoor activities.
我希望他是一个可信赖的人，同样是有幽默感的，喜欢户外活动。
(2)Saying：n.谚语；俗话；格言
e.g. As the saying goes, the early bird catches the worm.
谚语说，早起的鸟有食吃。
This saying, therefore, teaches us to be industrious.
因此，这句格言教导我们要勤奋用功。
3、for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal.Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect.
endure强调默默地、无怨言地忍受,但不屈服； suffer指不是出于自己的主观意志,而是被动、不随主观意志的动作
e.g. She endures all her troubles bravely.
她勇敢地忍受着种种不幸。
I can't endure his suffering.
我不忍看他受苦。
They suffered huge losses in the financial crisis.
他们在经济危机时遭受了巨大的损失。
How can you suffer such insolence? 
你怎么能容忍这种蛮横的态度？
最后我们再回顾一下这段经文

我们要记念耶稣，把祂刻印在脑海中，这是得胜的秘诀。常常思念耶稣，祂的一生和祂的作为，祂的能力、谦卑、升高，我们就可以成为基督的精兵，有能力胜过仇敌。
我们要记念耶稣的什么事呢？要记念祂是大卫的后裔，就是记念神应许的信实。因为“大卫的后裔”，表示耶稣基督是神所应许的那位后裔。撒下7:12-16; 王上9:5，神曾应许大卫，要坚立他的国直到永远，要兴起一位后裔接续他的位。所有犹太人都盼望这位后裔降生，就是大卫的后裔，神所应许，要承接大卫宝座直到永远的那一位。耶稣的降生，证明神的应许是可靠的。
“祂从死里复活”，这话原文是在“大卫的后裔”前面，耶稣从死里复活，这是福音的基础。耶稣为我们死了，担当了我们的罪；复活了，为我们胜过死亡。主耶稣复活成为初熟的果子，我们这些信祂的人也同样要复活。祂的复活，证明祂的确是将要来的那位荣耀的王，是坐在宝座上直到永永远远的那一位万王之王。这样，我们就应当忠心乐意地为祂传扬福音。
“正合乎我们所传的福音”。“正合乎”，表示以上的引证，是将旧约神应许大卫的话，和新约耶稣基督复活这个事实拿来对照，证明这两件事情是相合的（徒2:23-36; 13:29-35）。保罗所传的福音，在旧约的时候，神已经应许祂的仆人，在新约才应验；保罗就更清楚地把这应验解明出来，因为自己所传的，正是福音真理，心中非常平安。既然这位大卫后裔的耶稣从死里复活，正是合乎我们所传的，没有传错，我们就应该大胆地传，不怕为这福音受苦。基督的精兵，应该常常记念，我们所传的福音中有一位死而复活的基督，是按照神的应许所赐下来的，这是我们得胜的秘诀。
