From green train to bullet train, from several days to few hours, from lines to online, Chinese railway network is developing every day. Without doubt, its development is the reflection of Chinese society.
People love trains because they provide us more convenience, better service and security. But that's not all!
When I was a child, I always asked my parents to take me to the nearest railroad crossing. I felt so excited hearing the alarm bell ringing and the train hurtling along. Train is one of my happy childhood memories.
Now, I love traveling by train because I enjoy watching the flipping of the scenery — the journey which is not possible on planes.
Railroaders love railway network because they have devoted their lives to it. They are the witnesses of the development of the network and even the whole country.
Many people love to take the train because it is a good place of encounter. One might find his trip companion on the train and become lifelong friend. Another one would never have imagined that the stranger sitting beside him would become his soul mate. Or maybe one just shared a talk with another traveler and learnt an unforgettable lesson.
There are zillions of stories about railway network. You may also have yours. Why not share with us?
