敬虔生命的成长 | Godly Life

弟兄姊妹们主内平安，今天我们分享的经文来自新约彼得后书（2Peter1:3-8）

His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
神的神能已将一切关乎生命和虔敬的事赐给我们，皆因我们认识那用自己荣耀和美德召我们的主。因此，他已将又宝贵、又极大的应许赐给我们，叫我们既脱离世上从情欲来的败坏，就得与神的性情有份。正因这缘故，你们要分外地殷勤。有了信心，又要加上德行；有了德行，又要加上知识；有了知识，又要加上节制；有了节制，又要加上忍耐；有了忍耐，又要加上虔敬； 有了虔敬，又要加上爱弟兄的心；有了爱弟兄的心，又要加上爱众人的心。你们若充充足足地有这几样，就必使你们在认识我们的主耶稣基督上不至于闲懒不结果子了。
我们先来熟悉一下这段经文

神的神能已将一切关乎生命和虔敬的事赐给我们，皆因我们认识那用自己荣耀和美德召我们的主。

2、so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. 
叫我们既脱离世上从情欲来的败坏，就得与神的性情有份

有了德行，又要加上知识；有了知识，又要加上节制；有了节制，又要加上忍耐；有了忍耐，又要加上虔敬；有了虔敬，又要加上爱弟兄的心；有了爱弟兄的心，又要加上爱众人的心
perseverance英 [ˌpɜːsɪ'vɪərəns] n. 不屈不挠；毅力；坚韧不拔
brotherly英 ['brʌðəli] adj. 兄弟般的
4、For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
你们若充充足足地有这几样，就必使你们在认识我们的主耶稣基督上不至于闲懒不结果子了

Increasing英 [ɪn'kriːsɪŋ] adj.增长的；增加的

Ineffective英 [ˌɪnɪ'fektɪv] adj.无效的；无能的；
unproductive英 [ˌʌnprə'dʌktɪv]  adj.不生产的；没有收获的；
下面我们看一下这段经文里的语法
1、so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
（1）participate，用作不及物动词,意思是参加
e.g. Several experts will participate as technical advisers.
几位专家将作为技术顾问参加。
I'm afraid I will have no chance to participate in the coming contest. 
我恐怕没有机会参加即将举行的比赛了。
（2）participate也可常与介词in或with连用
Participate in + sth.
They participate in the profits
.他们分享利润。
I like the whole school participating in the sports. 
我喜欢全校师生都参加运动。
Participate with + sb.
You may well participate with us in our gains.
你们完全可以跟我们共享利益。
She participated with him in the sufferings.
她与他同患难。
2、For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge
make every effort to do sth. 尽力做(某事）
e.g. I hope your company gives me a chance , I will make every effort to do my best.
我希望贵公司能给我一次机会，我会尽全力做到最好
I will make every effort to do what they need me to do, to help them return to the finals.
我会尽一切努力做到他们需要我做的事，帮助他们重回总决赛。
Of course, I will make every effort to do so! 
当然，我会尽全力来做的哦。
3、they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ
（1）keep sb. from sth. 意为“保护，使免受”
e.g. His only thought was to keep the child from harm. 
他唯一的想法是让孩子免受伤害。
The LORD will keep you from all harm--he will watch over your life; 
耶和华要保护你，免受一切的灾害。他要保护你的性命。【诗 121:7】
（2）keep / prevent / stop sb. from doing sth. 都表示“防止某人做某事”。在prevent, stop结构中, from在主动句中可以省略，被动语态中不行，在keep结构中.主动和被动语态都不可以省略from。 
e.g. The heavy rain kept them from going out.
大雨阻止了他们外出。
I keep/stop/prevent him from cutting trees. 
我阻止他砍树。
You'd better keep your father from smoking. 
你最好阻止你爸爸吸烟。
Its nationals may be prevented from leaving the country. 
其国民可能会被禁止出境。

一切关乎生命和敬虔的事，都不是我们可以研究揣摩而得的，却是神赐给我们的，只因我们认识祂，就是那位用自己的荣耀和美德召我们的主。成长的力量不是来自我们自己，乃是来自神，我们根本没有能力活出真实敬虔的生活，唯有神让我们脱离罪恶，“得与神的性情有份”，能够为他而活。
 脱离世上从情欲来的败坏，才能“得与神的性情有份”（4节“神的性情”指神生命中一切美德的根源）。而与情欲争战，则需要长时间的操练，就如生命要结出果子来，不是一朝一夕的事。有了信心，要从信心出来相应的行为和品格，行为要按照真理的知识，节制又是在行为和知识上必要的，忍耐、虔敬和爱弟兄的心，无一不是操练和装备的过程，又是结出的果子。如果我们“殷勤”地以此装备自己的生命，就能在认识主耶稣这件事上结出 “丰丰富富”的果子了。
我们一起来祷告: 感谢天父，藉着你自己的话语和仆人，成为我随时随地的提醒，求主帮助我们在各样品格上操练和装备自己，竭力追求认识主，得以与神的性情有份。阿门！
