在这一切之外，要加上爱
Put on Love
弟兄姊妹们主内平安，今天我们分享的经文来自新约歌罗西书（Colossians 3：12-17）
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
所以你们既是神的选民，圣洁蒙爱的人，就要存（原文作“穿”。下同）怜悯、恩慈、谦虚、温柔、忍耐的心。倘若这人与那人有嫌隙，总要彼此包容，彼此饶恕；主怎样饶恕了你们，你们也要怎样饶恕人。在这一切之外，要存着爱心，爱心就是联络全德的。 又要叫基督的平安在你们心里作主，你们也为此蒙召，归为一体，且要存感谢的心。当用各样的智慧，把基督的道理丰丰富富地存在心里（或作“当把基督的道理丰丰富富地存在心里，以各样的智慧”），用诗章、颂词、灵歌，彼此教导，互相劝戒，心被恩感，歌颂神。无论作什么，或说话、或行事，都要奉主耶稣的名，藉着他感谢父神。
我们先熟悉一下这段经文
1、Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 

 所以你们既是神的选民，圣洁蒙爱的人，就要存（原文作“穿”。下同）怜悯、恩慈、谦虚、温柔、忍耐的心。

dearly英 ['dɪəli] adv.深深地；真挚地；

倘若这人与那人有嫌隙，总要彼此包容，彼此饶恕；

4、Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. 
当用各样的智慧，把基督的道理丰丰富富地存在心里（或作“当把基督的道理丰丰富富地存在心里，以各样的智慧”），用诗章、颂词、灵歌，彼此教导，互相劝戒，心被恩感，歌颂神。
dwell 英 [dwel]  vi. 居住；存在；

下面我们一起看一下语法
1、as的用法

（1）作prep. (介词): 作为，以…的身份; 如同
e.g. Later he went to India as a missionary. 
后来，他以传教士的身份去了印度。
your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
愿你的国降临，愿你的旨意行在地上，如同行在天上。【太 6:10】
(2) 作adv.（副词）：同样地；例如；被认为
e.g. She is as tall as her mother. 
她和她母亲一样高。（as…as 和…一样）
We have different pies, such as apple, cherry, and strawberry pies.
我们有不同的派，例如苹果、樱桃和草莓派。
(3) 作conj. (连词)：在…期间,当…时候；由于,因为
e.g. As rain has fallen, the air is cooler.
由于下了雨，空气比较凉爽。
As I was coming here, I met your brother.
我来这儿的时候遇见了你哥哥。
2、clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience
(1) clothe，及物动词，第三人称单数clothes，意思是：给...穿衣;供...穿;表达
e.g. He had to work hard to feed and clothe a large family.
他必须努力工作才能使全家有饭吃，有衣穿。
All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another.
你们众人也都要以谦卑束腰，彼此顺服。【彼前 5:5】
We clothe our thoughts in words.我们用语言表达思想。
（2）clothes，是名词，意思是衣服，服装。clothes是复数名词,单复同形。
clothes前可用my, your, his或the, these, those, a few, other, much, a great deal of, a good many修饰(谓语动词用复数，clothes只用复数形式,不可与数词连用,与his,these 连用时谓语动词须用复数形式),也可用a pair of clothes, a suit of clothes修饰(谓语动词用单数)。
e.g. These clothes are new.
这些衣服是新的。
A pair of clothes is displaying in the shop.
一件衣服正在这家商店展览。
I often take two clothes with me when I go travelling.
（错误，不可用数词直接修饰clothes）
I often take two sets of clothes with me when I go travelling.（正确）
我外出旅行时常穿两套衣服。
3、clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience
(1) patience,名词，意思是耐心；忍耐；毅力;单人纸牌游戏
e.g. He doesn't have the patience to wait. 
他没有耐心等待
He would often sit and play patience. 
他常常坐着玩单人纸牌游戏。
(2) patient 做形容词，意思是有耐心的；能忍耐的，做名词，意思是病人
e.g. You're a very patient person. 
你是个非常有耐性的人
The patient is much better today. 病人今天好多了。
最后我们再回顾一下这段经文
Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. “神的选民”、“圣洁蒙爱的人”，这些词汇明显地将我们与世俗分别出来，因此，我们应追求怜悯、恩慈、谦虚、温柔、忍耐的心、彼此包容、彼此饶恕。
保罗又说： “这一切之外，要存着爱心，爱是联络全德的”。 “爱”原来的意思乃是将一条带子把腰束上，古时的人用带子将宽大的衣服束上，以便工作。也就是说，“爱”好像一条带子，能控制整件衣服，无论是里衣、外衣，全因这条带子---“爱”而联络配搭在一起。因此，对于基督徒来说，我们要谦虚或是忍耐，怜悯或是温柔，包容或是饶恕，都应该以爱为出发点，以爱为过程，以爱联络一切，在爱中将各种德行与生活融汇在一起，见证于众人的面前，流露出与俗世不同的气质。
让我们一起来祷告: 天父，求你帮我们来活出你的爱，在我们追求各种德行、各种属灵的恩赐之前，让我们在这一切之先，来追求你的爱，来追求用爱来联络这些德行和恩赐！奉主耶稣基督的名祷告，阿们！
