刚强壮胆
弟兄姊妹们主内平安，今天我们分享的经文来自旧约约书亚记（1：7-9）
Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."
只要刚强，大大壮胆，谨守遵行我仆人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏离左右，使你无论往哪里去，都可以顺利。这律法书不可离开你的口，总要昼夜思想，好使你谨守遵行这书上所写的一切话。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事顺利。我岂没有吩咐你吗？你当刚强壮胆。不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。因为你无论往哪里去，耶和华你的神必与你同在。
我们先来熟悉一下这段经文
1、Be strong and very courageous.
只要刚强，大大壮胆。
strong adj.坚强的; 强烈的; 强壮的
courageous adj. 勇敢的，无畏的; 有胆量的
2、Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left,that you may be successful wherever you go.
谨守遵行我仆人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏离左右，使你无论往哪里去，都可以顺利。
Be careful  注意; 当心，小心;
obey vt.遵守，遵循;

servant n.仆人，佣人，雇工
turn from…对…感到厌恶;离弃

3、Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night,so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.
这律法书不可离开你的口，总要昼夜思想，好使你谨守遵行这书上所写的一切话。
this Book of the Law 律法书，这里的book和law的第一个字母要大写，专有名词
depart from  离开…; 背离，违背;
meditate vi.沉思; 打算;
meditate on 沉思
day and night 夜以继日地，日夜; 不分昼夜; 日日夜夜
write vi. 写; 写信; 写作; 作曲;过去分词: written
4、Then you will be prosperous and successful.
如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事顺利
successful adj.成功的，如愿以偿的;
prosperous adj. 繁荣的，兴旺的; 富裕的;
5、Have I not commanded you? Be strong and very courageous.Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged.
我岂没有吩咐你吗？你当刚强壮胆。不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。
command指挥，控制，命令; 过去分词/过去式: commanded
terrify vt. 使害怕；使恐怖；威胁;Terrify的过去分词terrified可用作形容词,在句中作表语,表示很害怕的，极度惊慌的，吓坏了的
discouraged adj.灰心的;沮丧的;动词discourage的过去分词discouraged可用作形容词
我们再来看一下语法
1、Be 动词的用法match
(1)在英语语法中，be动词意思和用法很多，一般的意思是：是，有多种变化形式，is，am，are，was，were，being，been，to be.根据句子中不同的人称、数和时间，型态，应该选择相应的be动词。
例如：He/she/it is; I am; they are；He/she/it/I was; they were
eg.The man is a science teacher.
这位男士是一位科学教师。
Mary's new dresses arecolourful.
玛丽的新衣服色彩鲜艳。
I have been there before.
我以前去过那里。
(2)当“be”要在祈使句中出现时，陈述句可借助助动词“do”，否定句必须在前加上助动词“do not(don't)”
eg.Be strong and courageous 
你当刚强壮胆。
Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged
不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。
Don't be impatient with your children.
对孩子们不能心急。
2、do not turn from it to the right or to the left
这里，“turn from…”的意思是对…感到厌恶;离弃
eg.Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
要离恶行善, 寻求和睦,一心追赶.
Repentance means hating sin enough to turn from it
悔改,是痛恨罪恶至极,因而远离.
3、Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth
这里，“depart from”的意思是离开…;背离，违背
eg.I see no reason for us to depart from our usual practice.
我看我们没有理由背离咱们的惯例。
Mr Lipton is planning to depart from the company he founded.
利普顿先生打算离开他所创立的公司。
Here are your luggage checks and boarding pass. Your flight will depart from Gate B.
这是你的行李和登机证。您的班机要从B号门出发。
4、meditate on it day and night
Meditate,表示，思想，沉思；
meditate on  是固定搭配，表示：思考，思想，沉思，默想
eg.It is important to meditate on the meaning of life. 
思考人生的意义很重要.
I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways.
我要默想你的训词、看重你的道路.
He should meditate on the problem. 
他必须就那个问题好好地想一想.
5、Have I not commanded you?
现在完成时表示过去发生的动作对现在造成的影响或结果或表示过去的动作或状态持续到现在。它的构成是：主语+have/has +动词的过去分词。
（1）过去发生的某一动作对现在造成的影响或结果或到现在为止已经发生或完成的动作。
eg.He has been away fromatchm the city.
他已离开这个城市。(结果：他不在这个城市。)
I have lost my pen.
我把钢笔丢了。(结果：我现在无钢笔用。)
He has finished his work.
他把工作做完了。（结果：他可以做其他的事了。）
（2）表示过去发生的、持续到现在的动作或状态
eg.He has taught in our school for 30 years.
他在我们学校教书已有30年了。
He has been busy since last week.
自上个星期以来他一直很忙。

摩西逝世前，遵照神的吩咐，将领导权移交给了他忠心的助手约书亚（申三十一1～8）。在约书亚记1：1-9节里神晓谕约书亚，再三勉励他“当刚强壮胆”。约书亚虽已八十多岁，身经百战，但初承伟大领袖摩西肩负的大任，面对强敌，难免胆怯。耶和华嘱咐他不要惊惶，因神与他同在，又反复叮咛务须遵守神藉摩西所传律法，以确保顺利亨通。
   顺利亨通的秘诀何在？（1）刚强壮胆，因为摆在他前面的任务并不容易。（2）遵行神的律法。（3）恒久阅读\查考这律法──神的话语。“这律法书”指神藉摩西所传的一切律法，包括《出埃及记》、《利未记》和《民数记》中所记载的律法，以及《申命记》中摩西作的讲解。“昼夜思想”，原文指沉思，有时还发出声音来，正确的思考会导致合适的行为，就是“谨守遵行”。
   约书亚虽然肩负重任，仍抽出时间默想。我们因为忙碌而忽略默想，会造成多大的损失啊！让我们一句一句地默想，把世俗排除在外，让神对我们说话，引导我们的思维，并求神给我们力量去遵行祂的话。
