Rejoice in the Lord

弟兄姊妹们主内平安，今天我们分享的经文来自旧约哈巴谷书Habakkuk3:17-19

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights.

虽然无花果树不发旺，葡萄树不结果，橄榄树也不效力，田地不出粮食，圈中绝了羊，棚内也没有牛。然而我要因耶和华欢欣，因救我的神喜乐。主耶和华是我的力量。他使我的脚快如母鹿的蹄，又使我稳行在高处。

我们先来熟悉一下这段经文。

1、Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines

虽然无花果树不发旺，葡萄树不结果

bud vi.发芽，长出蓓蕾; 开始发育

grape n. 葡萄; 深紫色，葡萄紫;复数: grapes

Vine n.藤; 藤本植物; 葡萄树;grapes on the vines 藤上的葡萄

2、though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food

橄榄树也不效力，田地不出粮食

olive n.橄榄; 橄榄树; 橄榄色; 油橄榄;

crop n.农作物; 产量; 庄稼； olive crop 橄榄树

fail vi.衰退; 失败，不及格; 第三人称单数: fails

field n. 田; （作某种用途的）场地;

produce vt.生产; 产生; 制作;

3、though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls

圈中绝了羊，棚内也没有牛

pen n.笔，文笔; 作家; 围栏;in the pen 在围栏里

cattle n.（总称）牛，牲口；复数Cattle（没有单数）

4、yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior

然而我要因耶和华欢欣，因救我的神喜乐

yet conj.然而，但是;

rejoice vi.高兴; 欢庆;

Savior n.救助者; 救世主; 上帝;my Savior我的救主

5、The Sovereign LORD is my strength

主耶和华是我的力量

Sovereign n.君主; 最高统治者; 独立国;

6、he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights.

他使我的脚快如母鹿的蹄。又使我稳行在高处

make vt.做; 使成为; 使产生;

foot 脚; 底部;复数feet

enable vt.使能够，使可能; 第三人称单数: enables

height n.高度，海拔; 高地;复数: heights

on the heights 在高处

好，下面我们一起来看一下这段经文里的语法

1、Though the fig tree does not bud

我们来看一下although和though的使用:

一、用作连词表示“虽然”，两者大致同义，可换用，只是 although 比 though 更为正式：

eg.(1) Though [Although] it was raining, we arrived on time.

虽然下着雨，但我们还是按时赶到了。

(2) Though [Although] it was barely four o'clock, the lights were already on.

尽管才四点钟，灯已经亮了。

二、用作副词： although 一般不用作副词，而 though 可用作副词，且一般放在句末(不放在句首)，意为“可是”、“不过”：

eg. It's hard work; I enjoy it though.

工作很辛苦，可是我乐意干。

He spends too much time in the gym, he is looking fit, though.

他花太多时间在健身房，可是他看起来很健康。

三、用于习语在 as though(好像，仿佛)，even though(即使，纵然)等固定短语中不能用 although：

eg. She closed her eyes as though she was tired.

她闭上眼，仿佛很疲劳似的。

He is an honest man, I must say, even though I have opposed him.

尽管我反对过他，我还得说他是一个诚实的人。

2、though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls

(1)There be 句型是英语中常用句型，意思是“有”，表示“人或事物的存在”或“某地有某物”There be 句型中动词be可以有一般现在时、一般过去时、将来时和完成时。

eg.There is some apple juice in the bottle.

瓶子里有些苹果汁。

There are some strangers on the street.

大街上有一些陌生人。

There will be a fine day tomorrow.

明天将是一个晴天。

(2)There be 句型的否定句有两种构成方式，一种是将否定副词not放在be 之后,

There isn't a box in the room.

房间里没有盒子。

There aren't any pens on the desk.

课桌上没有钢笔。

另一种是在主语前加上不定代词no , 如：

There are no pictures on the wall.墙上没有图画。

There might be no money left。

或许没有剩下什么钱。

3、he makes my feet like the feet of a deer

make在这里做役使动词表示 “使；使成为”,后面可跟复合结构,即“make+宾语+宾语补足语”,其中的宾语补足语可以是不带to的不定式、过去分词、形容词或名词。

（1）“make＋宾语＋n.” 意为“使、让某人 / 某物(成为)……”.

We made him captain of our football team.

我们推选他作我们足球队队长.

We made him our monitor.

我们选他当班长.

（2）“make＋宾语＋adj.” 意为 “使某人 / 某事(变得)……”.如：

The news that our team had won made us very happy.

我们队赢了的消息使我们大家非常高兴.

We must make the rivers clean.

我们必须净化河水.

最后让我们来一起再回顾一下这段经文：

在哈巴谷书1-2章里，先知哈巴谷看到百姓的罪孽与社会的不公平而神却不去拯救，他更不明白神为何让一个更恶、更强暴的国家—迦勒底人来管辖他们。因着遭遇生活中的险恶环境，哈巴谷大胆地带着疑问直接向神追问，然后等待神的回答和带领。神告诉哈巴谷：我是那位掌权者，我不会袖手旁观。

因着神的回答，哈巴谷对神有了一个新的认识，他不再像第1章那样沮丧了，他变得有盼望、有喜乐了，因为他把眼睛转向神。可以说，哈巴谷的处境还是不好，前景也不乐观，他身边那些非正义的事情还在继续，但是他说：“然而，我要因耶和华欢欣，因救我的神喜乐。主耶和华是我的力量！他使我的脚快如母鹿的蹄，又使我稳行在高处。”（哈 3:18-19）环境使人绝望，但是，当我们把眼睛放在神身上时，我们就知道，不管环境有多糟糕，神必帮助我们超越环境。

弟兄姊妹，生活中有艰难，我们有时候会看不到希望，但是，我们需要等候神的回答和他的带领。有时我们可能会觉得等待的时间太长，但是神有他自己的旨意、计划和时间。让我们一步一步来经历神，一步一步在神的面前走下去。
