知足的秘诀
Being Content
弟兄姊妹们主内平安，今天我们分享的经文来自新约腓立比书 Philippians 4:11-13
我想每个人也跟我一样不甘平凡
我想一天比一天更接近我的理想
我想有一天能够跟我的老板
亲切的交谈 聊聊我梦想 说一说我的信仰

能想就能干 敢想就敢当 作社会栋梁
让自己发热 为前途发光 做模范榜样
要扶摇直上 要一直幻想 想想也紧张
这就是现在想要的理想
我想有一天能够跟朋友抢著结帐

我想对所有人说 我今天很忙
明天会更忙 天天都赶场 没白活一场

I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.  I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
我并不是因缺乏说这话，我无论在什么景况都可以知足，这是我已经学会了。我知道怎样处卑贱，也知道怎样处丰富，或饱足、或饥饿、或有余、或缺乏，随事随在，我都得了秘诀。我靠着那加给我力量的，凡事都能作。
我们先来熟悉一下这段经文
1、I am not saying this because I am in need
我并不是因缺乏说这话
because   conj. 因为
need  n. 需要, 要求, 贫困
in  need 在危难中, 在危急中,在缺乏中
2、for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances
我无论在什么景况都可以知足，这是我已经学会了

或饱足、或饥饿、或有余、或缺乏
whether conj.是否, 不论
习惯用语 whether... or..或者...或者...；不管...还是..
feed vt.喂, 饲养, 靠...为生 ；Feed 的过去分词和过去式是fed ；well fed 饱足
hungry a.饥饿的, 荒年的, 渴望的
live vt.过着, 度过, 经历； Live的现在分词是Living
in plenty 习惯用语，表示：很多；处于优裕环境之中, (过)优裕的生活
in want 在贫困中，缺乏中
6、I can do everything through him who gives me strength.

下面我们一起来看一下这段经文里的语法
1、I am not saying this because I am in need
in need 的基本意思：在贫困中；在危难中，处于困境（经济上）；需要帮助，需要资助
eg.I am not saying this because I am in need.
我并不是因缺乏说这话。
When (you are) in need, don't hesitate to ask me for help.
需要时，请不必客气找我帮忙。
We are collecting money for children in need.
我们在为贫困儿童募捐。
2、for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.
我们举例看一下动词learn的用法。
eg.（1）【学；学习】
Their children are going to learn English
他们的小孩要去学英语。
He is learning to play the piano
他在学钢琴
Never too old to learn.
[谚]活到老, 学到老。
（2）【学会】
I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.
无论环境如何，我都学会了满足
You have to learn to face your problems.
你要学会面对自己的问题。
（3）【（从…中）吸取（教训）】
I am convinced that he has learned from his mistakes.
我深信他已从错误中吸取了教训
I can learn from him and he's a good friend of mine now.
我可以向他学习，他是我的一个好朋友了。
3、I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation
我们举例看一下单词content的用法，content可作名词，形容词，动词。
（1）作名词表示：内容； 目录； 含量
 Eg.She is reluctant to discuss the content of the play.
她不愿意谈该剧的内容。
 These foods have a high starch content.
这些食品淀粉含量很高
（2）作形容词表示：满足的； 满意的
 eg.I am very content with my life at present.
我对目前的生活心满意的。
 I am content to admire the mountains from below.
我满足于从山脚下观赏山景。
（3）作动词表示：使 ... 满足； 使 ... 安心； content… with
 eg. He wisely contented himself with his family and his love of nature.
 他非常明智，拥有家庭和对自然的热爱便知足了。
 You will have to content yourself with what you have.
你应该满足于你所拥有的一切
4、I know what it is to be in need
这里的what是关系代词。这里引导了宾语从句。
eg.I could hardly believe what he had told me. 
我简直不敢相信他所告诉我的。
His mother gives him what he asks for. 
他要什么他母亲就给他什么。
I give up; tell me what the answer is. 
我认输，告诉我答案吧。
5、whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want
Whether……or是习惯用语，意思是或者...或者...；是...还是
eg.I have learned the secret of being content whether I am well fed or hungry, whether I am living in plenty or in want.
无论是饱足，还是饥饿，无论是有余，还是缺乏，我都得到了知足的秘诀。
Whether I walk or drive, I'll be there on time.
无论是步行或开车，我都会准时到那。
I'm not sure whether to resign or to stay on.
我拿不准主意是辞职还是留任。
He does not care whether he wins or loses.
他不在乎是赢或是输。
我想每个人也跟我一样不甘平凡

I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.  I can do everything through him who gives me strength.
我并不是因缺乏说这话，我无论在什么景况都可以知足，这是我已经学会了。我知道怎样处卑贱，也知道怎样处丰富，或饱足、或饥饿、或有余、或缺乏，随事随在，我都得了秘诀。我靠着那加给我力量的，凡事都能作。
      保罗的知足，并非来自他拥有物质的多寡，而是来自他的内在资源──基督的供应--13节“我靠着那加给我力量的，凡事都能作”；这个“知足”，使他对外在物质环境的丰富与贫乏都能安然处之，也不至于影响他的喜乐。这提醒我们基督徒不要定睛注目世上的物质，以此为满足，却要在基督里丰足，因为，基督活在我们里面，就足能使我们应付人生的一切需求。正如主说：「你们要先求他的国和他的义，这些东西都要加给你们了」（太6：33）。

      “这是我已经学会了”，表示知足并非出于乐观的天性或本能，而是经由学习操练来的。 “我靠着那加给我力量的，凡事都能作”，这表示并非我们自身拥有多少资源、储备，而是不论在任何环境中，都相信神的应许，他能加给我们力量去应对任何环境。这「秘诀」得来不易，需要经过相当艰苦的过程而学到。我们对外在物质环境的适应力，在于我们灵命长进的程度。
      也有许多人误解，因着基督加给我力量，任何想作的事情，我定能作成。经文其实宣称神必定会加力量给我们去作那些祂要我们去作的事。「我都能作」在原文是「我有力量」或「我是健壮」的意思，因着在基督里的资源，而有足够的力量来面对一切、克服一切，去完成神要我们去作的事。
