（汉加讯）BC交通厅长Todd Stone于6月12日宣布，在限速80公里/小时以上的高速公路上，驾驶员必须保持行驶在右道；除非他们想超车，才能移动到左侧车道。另外当有重大交通壅堵使得流量放低到50公里/小时以下，或必须给紧急车辆腾出空间，才可以在左道上行驶。（Moving into the left lane is only permitted when allowing other cars to merge, when there’s heavy volume causing traffic to slow to 50 km/h or less, and to make way for emergency vehicles.）
Essentially, the instruction is to keep to the right except to pass unless you’re preparing to turn left or clearing up space for an emergency vehicle.
When congestion causes drivers to slow to speeds of 50 km/h, you’re permitted to move into the left lane to ease that congestion.

违法的结果是可能导致167元罚款，驾照被扣3分
