近日一些国外媒体报道称，中国有多名游泳运动员在2021年被查出兴奋剂曲美他嗪阳性却没有受到处罚。对此，世界反兴奋剂机构（WADA）20日表示，中国反兴奋剂中心在事件发生后及时通报了该结果，并根据调查作出污染造成阳性的结论，经过WADA详尽审查后认可这一结论，因此报道具有“误导性和潜在诽谤性”。此外，WADA还表示，将召开发布会详细说明情况。

据新华社报道，世界反兴奋剂机构20日发表的声明称，美国反兴奋剂机构（USADA）首席执行官泰格特对WADA处理中国游泳运动员因环境污染造成兴奋剂检测阳性进行了“严重指控”，WADA对他“骇人的、完全虚假的和诽谤性的”言论感到“震惊”，并指出他的指控是出于“政治动机”。
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) said on Saturday that it is astonished by "politically motivated" allegations against the Chinese swimmers. 
声明表示，泰格特的指控是出于政治动机，其目的是破坏WADA在世界各地保护干净体育的工作，而这些破坏性言论是在没有任何支持证据的情况下发表的。
"Tygart's allegations are politically motivated and delivered with the intention of undermining WADA's work to protect clean sport around the world," WADA said, noting that the damaging comments have been delivered without any supporting evidence whatsoever.
WADA的声明称，根据所有现有的科学证据和情报，经过顶尖反兴奋剂专家的彻底收集、评估和测试，WADA没有理由质疑环境污染的解释。
The truth of this matter is that according to all available scientific evidence and intelligence, thoroughly gathered, assessed and tested by leading anti-doping experts, WADA had no basis to challenge the explanation of environmental contamination. 
声明称，泰格特不接受本案是源于环境污染的调查结果，但他无法说明原因。然而，在美国，WADA曾接受了USADA对于多名美国运动员的类似结论。泰格特应该意识到，并非只有美国运动员会成为无过错污染情况的受害者。
"It is implicit in his statement that Tygart does not accept the finding of environmental contamination in this case although he cannot say why. Yet, it is true that in the United States, WADA has also accepted USADA's similar conclusions of contamination involving a number of US athletes. Tygart should realize that it is not only American athletes who can fall victim to situations of no-fault contamination," the statement added. 
声明称，对于虚假指控，WADA别无选择，只能将此事提交其法律顾问采取进一步行动。
Following Tygart's false allegations, WADA has no choice but to refer this matter to its legal counsel for further action, the statement concluded.
而在21日的最新声明中，WADA表示将于美东时间4月22日11时召开视频发布会，进一步说明情况。
据新华社报道，2021年1月在河北省石家庄市正定县举行的全国游泳争霸赛中，中国反兴奋剂中心（CHINADA）实施了兴奋剂检查。结果显示，有运动员的样本呈极低浓度的曲美他嗪阳性。中国反兴奋剂中心第一时间从各方面全方位展开深入细致调查。
"CHINADA has noticed several foreign media organizations published and circulated misleading reports about Chinese swimmers testing positive ahead of the Tokyo Olympics," read a statement by CHINADA. 
根据调查结果，结合兴奋剂检查、检测等相关证据，中国反兴奋剂中心认定所涉运动员没有故意使用违禁物质，阳性也不是使用药品、营养品等因素导致的，而是在参加此次赛事期间，在完全不知情的情况下摄入了受到曲美他嗪污染的食物导致。因此中国反兴奋剂中心依照有关规定判定所涉运动员在此事件中均无过错或无疏忽，决定对其不按照兴奋剂违规处理。
According to the statement, CHINADA conducted doping tests at a national swimming event in June 2021 and found swimmers testing positive for "extremely low concentration" of trimetazidine (TMZ).
"CHINADA immediately carried out investigation into the case from various respects including event organization, accommodation, usage of medicine and supplements as well as doping test procedures," it said. 
中国反兴奋剂中心表示，在此事件的调查处理过程中，中国反兴奋剂中心向WADA和世界泳联及时通报调查进展，并提供了调查证据、处理决定和全部案卷材料。WADA对本案进行了充分审查，认为无法反驳曲美他嗪来自污染的可能性，案卷材料中的检测数据也符合污染可能，应认定运动员无过错或无疏忽。根据相关规定，为保护运动员的合法权益，不按兴奋剂违规处理且相关方未对案件提起上诉，处理结果不对外公布。
"CHINADA immediately carried out investigation into the case from various respects including event organization, accommodation, usage of medicine and supplements as well as doping test procedures," it said.

Combining all investigation results and evidences, CHINADA came to the conclusion that the swimmers had tested positive for TMZ after inadvertently being exposed to the substance through contamination. It then decided the athletes should not be held responsible for the positive results.
中国反兴奋剂中心表示，中心始终秉承独立、公正、专业、权威的理念，严格依照反兴奋剂法律法规、《世界反兴奋剂条例》和国际标准开展工作，不断加强反兴奋剂宣传教育力度，持续加大对兴奋剂问题的打击力度，通过高效率、高质量的反兴奋剂工作，坚决维护运动员的身心健康，维护体育竞赛的公平竞争，为全球统一的反兴奋剂斗争作出贡献。
中国反兴奋剂中心同时表示：对相关媒体的不当信息，中国反兴奋剂中心保留采取适当法律行动的权利。
CHINADA also said it would reserve the right to pursue legal action toward media publishing the improper information.
