It’s time to dust off your cowboy boots! The Beijing American Center at the U.S. Embassy is hosting a Country Line Dancing Night from 6:30 to 8:30 pm on April 19th. All nationalities and experience levels are welcome! 
Country line dancing is a type of dance which originated in farming communities of the American West in the early 1900s. Country line dancing involves a group of people arranged in rows dancing to a repeating sequence of steps. Over time, country line dancing has become a global phenomenon, merging a wide variety of different dance styles and accompanying country music. Most importantly, it is accessible, easy to learn, and a whole lot of fun! Don’t worry if you have never tried it before — we will teach you everything you need to know.

The instructions will be in English but please follow along the exercises.

    You must bring a valid physical photo ID in order to enter the Beijing American Center (BAC), copies or pictures of IDs will not be accepted.

    While portable electronic devices, such as mobile phones, iPads and other tablets, and smartwatches are permitted, guests may not bring laptop computers to Beijing American Center programs. No large bags will be allowed for this event.
