Research Assistant I

职位描述：

We now invite applications for the captioned post to assist in Jockey Club Online Youth Emotional Support “Open Up” project which is funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.

Duties and Responsibilities

assist with research and evaluation of the online text-based emotional support service

conduct literature reviews, data collection, data analysis and report writing

liaise with internal and external parties to facilitate research activities

conduct interviews and focus groups

perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Social Sciences or related disciplines

outstanding communication, analytic and writing skills

a strong sense of responsibility

attentive to details

excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese)

An aptitude for quantitative data analysis (SPSS, R, or similar statistical packages) and qualitative research methods is preferred

Experience in mental health projects in Hong Kong would be an advantage

What We Offer

The appointment will commence as soon as possible on a 1-year temporary basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
