Britain's King Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer and has started receiving treatment, Buckingham Palace announced on Monday.

另据英国广播公司消息，查尔斯三世确诊的癌症并非前列腺癌，而是在他最近治疗前列腺肥大时发现的。截至目前，白金汉宫未透露癌症的类型，但根据白金汉宫发布的声明，国王查尔斯三世已于5日开始接受治疗。
The diagnosis came shortly after the 75-year-old monarch was treated for an enlarged prostate.
"His Majesty has been treated for benign prostate enlargement. It was during this intervention that the separate issue of concern was noted and subsequently diagnosed as a form of cancer," a Palace spokesperson said.

Britain's political leaders quickly reacted to the news. Rishi Sunak, the prime minister, wrote on social media that he was "wishing His Majesty a full and speedy recovery."
"I have no doubt he’ll be back to full strength in no time and I know the whole country will be wishing him well," Sunak said.
据法新社报道，美国总统拜登5日晚些时候称，对查尔斯三世被确诊患有癌症一事表示“关心”，并希望他早日康复。美国前总统特朗普也在社交媒体发文称英国国王是“一个很棒的人”。“我们都祈祷他能早日康复！”特朗普写道。
US President Joe Biden meanwhile said he is "concerned" about King Charles.
"I'm concerned about him. Just heard about his diagnosis," Biden said in Las Vegas when asked about the development. Biden said he expected to speak soon with the King, "God willing."
Former US president Donald Trump said, "King Charles has cancer. He is a wonderful man, who I got to know well during my presidency, and we all pray that he has a fast and full recovery."
另据英国《卫报》报道，法国总统马克龙也在社交媒体上祝愿英国国王早日康复，“我们与英国人民同在。祝福您。”此外，《以色列时报》报道称，以总理内塔尼亚胡在社交媒体发文，称“向（英国）国王查尔斯三世致以衷心祝福，并为他的健康祈祷。”
"Wishing His Majesty King Charles III a speedy recovery. Our thoughts are with the British people," French President Emmanuel Macron wrote in a post on X.
