1月13日，哥大全球中心和哥大北京校友会将携手举办2024哥大校友新年钢琴音乐会。我们诚邀您莅临现场，在这个特别的夜晚，与我们共同庆祝新年的到来，感谢校友们长久以来的支持与陪伴。
音乐会将特邀哥伦比亚学院16届校友、钢琴家黄南淞和徐起带来精彩演奏，他们将呈现一系列经典与现代交融的中外曲目，以钢琴之声，开启全新一年的美好篇章。
本次音乐会不仅是一场音乐盛宴，更是校友们交流情谊、共叙友情的良机。在这里，旧友重逢、新知相聚。让我们一同聆听美妙乐章，感受音乐的魅力，与众多校友一同分享新年的喜悦与期许。
On January 13, join us for an evening of enchanting melodies as the Columbia Global Centers | Beijing and the Columbia Alumni Association of Beijing usher in the New Year with a piano concert for the Columbia University community in the region.
This exclusive event promises to be a night of cultural celebration and musical excellence with special performances by Columbia pianists Nansong Huang and Qi Xu, who will present a fusion of classical masterpieces and contemporary compositions. 
The event is not just a musical gathering but also an opportunity to reconnect with fellow Columbians, share experiences, and build new memories. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the past year while looking forward to the promise and potential of the year ahead.

哥伦比亚学院16届校友
西安音乐学院钢琴系青年教师
旅美青年钢琴家，钢琴演奏及钢琴教学法双音乐艺术博士，施坦威艺术家，现任教于西安音乐学院钢琴系主科。四岁开始学习钢琴，先后就读于中央音乐学院、茱莉亚音乐学院、哥伦比亚大学、耶鲁大学音乐学院、美国西北大学本尼音乐学院等名校，所有在校期间均荣获全额奖学金和助学金。
他曾在中国“星海杯”、“卡丹萨杯”、“施坦威”、“海伦杯”及国外“李斯特国际钢琴比赛”、“美国E-钢琴青少年比赛”、“柴可夫青少年国际钢琴比赛”、“仙台国际钢琴比赛”等数十次国内外钢琴大赛中获得第一名及特别奖。独奏音乐会遍布世界多个城市，具备丰富的现场演奏经验，并曾先后与俄罗斯国家交响乐团、俄罗斯圣彼得堡交响乐团、乌克兰国家交响乐团、乌克兰哈尔科夫爱乐交响乐团、韩国京畿道爱乐乐团、日本仙台交响乐团、英国皇家北方音乐学院交响乐团、美国明尼苏达交响乐团、美国俄勒冈州科瓦利斯交响乐团、中国国家爱乐乐团、中国歌舞剧院交响乐团、陕西交响乐团等著名乐团合作，并与西安音乐学院交响乐团成功合作拉赫玛尼诺夫第二钢琴协奏曲。黄南淞也长期活跃于室内乐舞台，演出作品涵盖巴洛克时期至近现代作曲家作品。
除拥有丰富的钢琴演奏经验和音乐理论水平外，黄南淞还先后在本科学习期间担任哥伦比亚大学音乐系助教、研究生期间担任耶鲁大学本科生及研究生钢琴讲师，博士生期间担任西北大学钢琴演奏及钢琴教育首席助教。在国内外音乐节、音乐厅、音乐学院及音乐机构多次开展大师班课，其丰富的教学经验和精湛的教学水平得到师生的高度赞誉。

作为一名钢琴教师，黄南淞曾多次荣获国内外优秀指导教师奖，指导多位学生考入国内外顶尖音乐学院，开设钢琴专业课程《浪漫主义钢琴作品专题》、《附中钢琴室内乐必修课》，主持并参与多项省部级科研项目。
Born in China, Nansong Huang started playing the piano when he was four years old. At the age of ten, he was accepted to The Middle School Attached to The Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing. In 2009, he moved to the United States and was admitted to the pre-college division of Juilliard School of Music. He earned his B.A. from Columbia-Juilliard Exchange program with degrees in Political Science and Music, Master of Music degree from Yale School of music, and Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University. Nansong is currently the piano faculty at Xi’an Conservatory of Music. 
In recent years, he had won top prizes in many piano competitions, including 1st prize in Minnesota International E-Competition Juniors (2008), 1st prize of the 5th International Piano Competition “Dedication to Franz Liszt" in Moscow(2008)，1st prize and the best performance of Tchaikovsky piece award in the 6th International Tchaikovsky Competition for young musicians, South Korea(2009), Special Jury Prize and Special Audience Prize for performance in the 4th Sendai International Music Competition, Japan (2010), 2nd prize in piano competition in Virtuoso & Belcanto Music festival (2017), Steinway Prize in Bilkent Music Festival (2018), winner of the Thaviu-Issak Piano Competition (2019), Etc. He was also the recipient of Luminarts Fellowship in Classical Music by the Luminarts Cultural Foundation in 2019.

In addition, He collaborated successfully with more than 20 orchestras around the world including Ukraine National Symphony Orchestra, Minnesota Symphony Orchestra, St. Petersburg Symphony Orchestra, Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, Russian Symphony Orchestra, and many others. He is also an avid chamber musician, and has performed chamber music in many prominent venues including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, Peter Jay Sharp Hall, etc., with works ranging from Franz Schubert to Leonard Bernstein.

Nansong also appeared in many special music events. Highlights include performance of Brahms piano concerto No.1 with Juilliard Orchestra conducted by world-class pianist and conductor Leon Fleisher; collaboration with Santa Fe Ballet and Aspen Symphony Orchestra in Aspen Music Festival; welcoming performance for former U.S. Secretary of State Mrs. Hillary Clinton at Beijing Diaoyutai State Guest House during Mrs. Clinton’s official diplomatic visit to China; Soloist of Stravinsky’s Petrouchka with Columbia University Orchestra under the baton of Jeffery Milarsky; Performance with Lang Lang for UNICEF fundraising and Beijing Olympic celebration; and so forth.

哈尔滨音乐学院钢琴系主科教师
哈尔滨音乐学院高层次引进人才（钢琴系主科教师），兼任天津茱莉亚学院理论教师，民盟青年骨干盟员，珠江·恺撒堡艺术家，茱莉亚音乐学院音乐艺术博士（DMA，钢琴演奏方向），音乐硕士（MM，钢琴演奏方向），哥伦比亚大学文学学士（CC '16，数学专业），哥大—茱莉亚联合学位（BCJ Joint Program），2015年度哥大—牛剑学者（剑桥大学数学系）。 
在求学期间，其演出足迹遍布世界各地，并被西德意志汇报（Westdeutsche Zeitung）描述为：“通过他的诠释，他活出了音乐和其所承载情感的真谛”。
Pianist Qi Xu endeavors to embrace and appreciate the world by pursuing a multi-faceted identity: concert-pianist, artist-scholar, inter-disciplinary researcher, and finally, intellectual adventurer who travels through the fascinating complexity of our universe. 
During his undergraduate years at Columbia University (BCJ joint program), Qi (CC'16) explored other disciplines with the intention of facilitating his musical understanding. In particular, Qi was selected in 2014 as a Columbia-Oxbridge Scholar to study abroad for one year at Cambridge University where he read mathematics. 
With exposure to other disciplines, Qi specializes in approaching piano performance with reason and sentiment combined. As such, during his recital tour in Germany 2015, he was hailed by the German press as "a storyteller and wild riders" (Rheinische Post) who stands in "between drama and charm" (Derwesten). 
Upon DMA graduation in 2022, Qi joined the Harbin Conservatory of Music (HRBCM) as a full-time piano faculty member. In 2023, in addition to HRBCM duties, Qi was appointed a music theory faculty member of the Tianjin Juilliard school, thus returning to the Juilliard family.
