We have a dedicated staff who serve as advocates for Boston's older adults. We believe that Bostonians who are 55 and older make our City strong and vibrant.
Our mission is to enhance older adults' lives with meaningful programs, resources, and connections so we can live and age strong in Boston together.
ADVOCACY AND ADMINISTRATIONS
DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
Under the direction of the Senior Director of Administration & Finance, the Director of Human Resources acts in a confidential capacity to ensure effective personnel management and the development of human resource programs.  Leads all processes related to human resources and payroll functions of the Department.
DIRECTOR OF PLANNING AND GRANTMAKING
The Director of Planning and Grantmaking is responsible for assessing community needs and service gaps, program planning, funding prioritization, strategic partnership development, and capacity-building across Boston's aging services network. 
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH DIRECTOR
The Behavioral Health Director is responsible for leading the Age Strong Commission’s mental and behavioral health work.  This includes new program implementation and evaluation, facilitating service coordination with partner agencies andproviders, and training of Age Strong staff and service providers, as well as consultation, assessment, and evaluation of older adults experiencing challenges related to their behavioral health. This position will work collaboratively with Age Strong Commission units and aging services providers to identify educational opportunities and other community/population based services to meet the behavioral health needs of older Bostonians. 
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION
The Assistant Director of Transportation is responsible for supervising the day-to-day work of the Transportation Unit including all aspects of our driving and fleet maintenance operations, providing ongoing and proactive communication, ensuring adequate staffing, resolving complaints, etc. The position is also responsible for supporting the Director in developing and managing the Commission’s transportation strategy. 
MARKETING AND SPONSORSHIP MANAGER
Under the direction of the Communications Director, the Marketing and Sponsorship Manager is responsible for implementing community outreach initiatives to increase AgeStrong’s visibility, seeking and managing partnership cultivation, sponsorships, and grant writing for the Commission.  The Marketing and Partnership Manager will work closely with Senior Staff to identify and develop strategic opportunities to further the Commission’s mission. This position will also be responsible for managing Age Strong’s Community Ambassador Program, the Civic Academy, and other civic engagement/community outreach programs.
ADMINISTRATIVE AND PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST
The Administrative and Procurement Specialist is responsible for coordinating the Commission’s day-to-day administrative duties  and procurement processes.  The incumbent will work closely with the Senior Director of Finance & Administration on general administrative tasks, the City’s Property Management to ensure our space is adequate and organized, and the City’s Central Procurement to ensure procurement of goods and services comply with the City’s requirement.
ADVOCACY AND BENEFITS COORDINATOR
The Advocacy and Benefits Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the Commission’s Advocacy and Benefits work and providing management support to the Constituent Services unit.  Responsibilities may include handling complex cases, assigning work, creating and delivering presentations, training staff, as well as assisting in the coordination of the day to day operations of the unit. 
PROGRAM COORDINATOR
Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Program Coordinator will support the administration, planning, strategic, and operational activities for the Department. 
RECEPTIONIST
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact to the Commission welcoming and connecting visitors, callers, etc. to appropriate units and/or staff.  This position will manage the front desk area, providing ad hoc administrative support as needed. 
EAST BOSTON SENIOR CENTER
SENIOR CENTER DIRECTOR - EAST BOSTON
The Senior Center Director serves as the administrator of acommunity based Senior Center for the Age Strong Commission. This position is responsible for the planning, organization, and administration of the senior center in accordance with the participants’ needs, government regulations, and center policies and procedures.  The position requires a combination of administrative, managerial, program development and implementation as well as direct service skills with a commitment to working with older adults to improve their quality of life. 
AGE STRONG SHUTTLE
DISPATCHER
The Dispatcher plays a key role at the Age Strong Shuttle serving as a key communicator and problem solver. The position is responsible for efficiently managing day-of dispatch operations.
