The producer of the “The Voice of China” saw its stock tumble by the most on record after a viral video of allegations that a deceased pop star was unfairly treated during her time on the popular televised singing show.
Star CM Holdings Ltd. tumbled 23%, the most since its listing in December. The drop wipes out about $1.5 billion in market value from the stock, which had more than quadrupled at its peak.
The selloff comes after a nine-minute clip surfaced on Chinese social media platform Weibo allegedly showing Hong Kong singer Coco Lee talking about her time on the reality program, which like the U.S. show “The Voice” is based on a hit Dutch series. The Hong Kong-born entertainer, who had charted hits in places as far away as the U.S. and Australia, starred on “The Voice of China” as a mentor to competing singers.

The Voice 是美国的一档音乐综艺节目，叫《美国之声》，Chinese Version of ‘The Voice’ 指《中国好声音》。
主要讲一讲 rock 这个词：
rock 最基本的意思是名词“石头”，作动词表示像石头一样“摇晃、晃动”，比如前阵子德州地震了，可以说：
The city Dezhou was rocked by an earthquake. 
德州受到地震的剧烈震动。 
文中的 rock 用于比喻，表示引起巨大的影响或震撼，类似地震引起的冲击。此时 rock 可以用 hit, affect 替换，但 rock 更有画面感。

里面有个很常见的表达：see A do/done，是 do 还是 done，看 do/done 和 A 的逻辑，主动是 do，被动用 done。

viral 来自 virus（病毒）一词，因为病毒传播能力强，所以形容词 viral 引申为“火爆的、走红的”，常见搭配为 sth go viral.
什么样的指控呢？allegations 后面跟了个同位语从句，对 allegations 的内容进行补充说明：that a deceased pop star was unfairly treated / during her time on the popular televised singing show.
deceased 是“去世的”意思，和题目中的 late 是同义替换。

Star CM Holdings Ltd. 是《中国好声音》的制片方（producer）星空华文控股有限公司，Holdings 是“股份”，Ltd.是 Company Limited 的简写，指“有限责任公司”。
the most since its listing in December 中，listing 在这里是名词“上市”的意思，可以替换成 IPO（initial public offering 首次公开募股）。
第一句话的意思是，星空华文 (Star CM Holdings Ltd.) 暴跌 23% (tumbled 23%)，这是自从去年 12 月上市以来 (since its listing in December) 的最大跌幅 (the most)。
第二句话中，The drop 指的是 23%的跌幅，market value 意思是“市值”，stock 除了“股份”讲，也可以指一家公司的“总市值”，也就是这家公司一共价值多少钱。下图是茅台公司的股票信息，stock 指的就是“市值 2.3 万亿”这一栏：
