我很惊讶，这不是过去三年里，每个书店橱窗都能看到的那个“现象级畅销绘本”么？这个圣诞节，《男孩、鼹鼠、狐狸与马》竟然变成动画片了！
查理·麦克西的这本书，霸榜《纽约时报》榜单53周，温暖了几百万读者。这是一本写给所有人的书，通过一段辛酸而真挚的旅程，讲述了一个男孩、一只鼹鼠、一只狐狸和一匹马，四个孤独的灵魂在寻找家的过程中结伴而行，并在彼此身上找到了自己存在的意义。
原书的水墨画风简约大气、独树一帜。而BBC动画片的场景也让我惊艳，画面更加丰富细腻、充满意境、让人心旷神怡。
寒冷的冬天，还有什么比来一场心灵奇旅更美好呢？这个似乎没有什么情节的故事，却让我们所有人都陷入了一种舒服的寂静，不约而同地面带微笑，我们都被治愈了。其中的许多句子，之后几天我不由自主一直回味，内心总会涌起暖流，很难忘。

1. “你说过的最勇敢的话是什么？”男孩问。
“寻求帮助，”马说。

'Help,' said the horse.
'Asking for help isn't giving up,' said the horse. 'It's refusing to give up.
2.“你认为什么事情最浪费时间？”男孩问。

What do you think is the biggest waste of time?"
"Comparing yourself to others", said the mole.
3.  “你长大想要变成什么样？”鼹鼠问。
“善良。”男孩说。

"Kind", said the boy.

“Nothing beats kindness,' said the horse. 'It sits quietly beyond all things.”

“We often wait for kindness...but being kind to yourself can start now.”

"I think I'm grateful to have a glass," said the boy.

Do you have any other advice?" asked the boy.
"Don't measure how valuable you are by the way you are treated," said the horse.

“One of our greatest freedoms is how we react to things.”

"Yes, but look how far we've come", said the horse.‍‍

“我是谁？”男孩问。
“你是被爱。”马说。
“When things get difficult remember who you are."‍
"Who am I?"asked the boy.
"You are loved," said the horse.
12. “多奇怪，我们只能看见我们的外在，但几乎一切改变都从内在发生。”
“Isn't it odd. We can only see our outsides, but nearly everything happens on the inside” 
13. “我可真渺小，”鼹鼠说。
“但你胸膛里的爱，和宇宙一样大。”男孩说。
“I am truly tiny." said the mole.
'The love inside you," said the boy "is as big as the universe.” 
14. “和朋友在一起无所事事并不等于什么也不做，对吧？”男孩问。
“是的。”鼹鼠说。
“Doing nothing with friends is never doing nothing, is it?" asked the boy.
"No," said the mole.
15.  “当你感觉大事情正在失控，更要把注意力放在眼前你爱的人和事。”
“When the big things feel out of control, 
focus on what you love right under your nose.” 
16. “走好这一步，远方自会出现。”
“Just take this step... 
The horizon will look after itself.” 
17. “有时，”马说。
“有时什么？”男孩问。
“有时，起床、继续前行，就已经足够勇敢和伟大了。”马说。‍
“sometimes," said the horse.
"sometimes what?" asked the boy.
"Sometimes just getting up and carrying on is brave and magnificent.” 
18. “有时我担心你们会发现我其实很普通。”男孩说。
“爱不需要你与众不同。”鼹鼠说。
“Sometimes I worry you'll all realise I'm ordinary," said the boy. 
"Love doesn't need you to be extraordinary." said the mole.
19. “你最大的发现是什么？”鼹鼠问。
“原来我已经足够好。”男孩说。
“What's your best discovery?" asked the mole.
"That I'm enough as I am," said the boy.
20. “这里毫无疑问就是我最喜欢的地方。”鼹鼠说。
“为什么？”男孩问。
“因为你们都在这儿。”
“This is easily my favourite place' said the mole
'Why?' asked the boy
'Because you are all here.”
