Do you want to learn more about the history of the United States? Join a prominent American historian at the Beijing American Center for a series of informative and engaging talks.

Friday, June 9, 2023, 3:00-4:30p.m. 

Our series on US history concludes with a look at America in the 21st century, as 1990s triumphalism gave way to tragedy on 9/11. In the first decades of the new millennium, America faced new challenges at home and abroad while continuing to grapple with legacies from the past in a search for a more perfect union. Join an American historian for a lively and informative discussion of how the US today looks back at its recent history and forward into the future.

This event will be conducted in English. 

People under 15 are not allowed in.

Doors will open 30 minutes before the program starts. Please try to arrive at least 30 minutes before the program starts to allow enough time to go through security. You will NOT be admitted if you arrive 20 minutes after the program has started.
