On May 8, President Biden hosted a screening of “American Born Chinese” at the White House in celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. He’s introduced by Academy Award-winning actor Ke Huy Quan.
President Biden said on Twitter, “It was an honor to host the largest AA and NHPI Heritage Month celebration ever held at the White House.
Showing all of our stories is important – that's why we screened "American Born Chinese," a story of growing up in different worlds but finding ways to bring them together.”
