「简报」新年快乐！Swartz Center 在硅谷举办年度创业之旅​

CMU Swartz Center 于 2023 年 1 月 9 日至 13 日在加利福尼亚州硅谷举办了一年一度的创业之旅。这个机会让 25 名学生——13 名 James R. Swartz 创业研究员学生和 13 名本科创新学者学生——接触到了 CMU 广阔的校友网络，其中包括来自加州湾区和周边的初创公司创始人和投资公司。参与的一些初创公司包括 BitGo、Nimble AI 和 Neeva。其他的活动包括参观 CMU 的硅谷校区，参观 Y Combinator 以及由几位校友创始人主持的小组讨论。

The CMU Swartz Center hosted its annual Entrepreneurship Trek to Silicon Valley, CA on January 9-13, 2023. The Trek exposes twenty five students—thirteen graduate James R. Swartz Entrepreneurial Fellows and thirteen undergraduate Innovation Scholar students—to the vast network of CMU alumni startup founders and investment firms in and around California's Bay Area. Some of the startups visited were: BitGo, Nimble AI and Neeva. Other activities included a visit to CMU's Silicon Valley campus, a visit to Y Combinator and panel discussions led by several alumni founders.

One of the highlights of the Trek was a visit to Accel, founded by CMU alumnus Jim Swartz, who also endowed the Swartz Entrepreneurial Fellows program. Jim shared his experiences as a venture capitalist and offered valuable entrepreneurship advice to the students. A networking event followed, which was organized by the leaders of CMU's Tech & Entrepreneurship.
