Job Description
Corporate Research – Research and Technology Center Asia Pacific is a team of international & interdisciplinary scientists, driving cutting edge research to leverage on Asia’s expertise. Scientifically verified knowledge and insights are the foundation of our sustainable solutions. Through our innovation, we develop a vision for the future product of Bosch, evaluate its feasibility, and convert it into practical solutions. We set trends and enable new business opportunities for Bosch.
  • Research and development of innovative 3D computer vision/perception algorithms such as deep learning based object detection, semantic segmentation, environment reconstruction based on camera/LiDAR for robotics, autonomous driving, and other fields.
  • Participate in the design and development of the perception pipeline.
  • Cooperation with Bosch business units in China and worldwide for requirement analysis, technology transfer, and to evaluate market attractiveness of new concepts.

Qualifications
  • Education: Ph.D and above in computer science, mathematics, physics or related field with strong background in machine learning (ML) or deep learning (DL).
  • Personality: We are looking for a teammate who is: keen to learn new technologies and share knowledge, a team player and as well as able to work independently, motivated, goal-oriented and pro-active.
  • Experience:Familiar with machine learning technologies, especially on computer vision related object detection, recognition, tracking and positioning algorithms. Practical R&D experience in the field of autonomous driving is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages (e.g. Python, C/C++).
  • Demonstrated experience in working with ML/DL frameworks (e.g. sklearn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Excellent teamwork spirit, excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Hands-on experience in working with Spark clusters or GPU clusters is a big plus.
  • Publications at major conferences or journals is a big plus.

  • Conduct research and pre-development of innovative powertrain systems and power electronics components for electrified vehicles
  • Hardware innovation and development for motor controller (inverter) and other power electronic converters such as DC/DC converter and AC/DC converter
  • Work closely with the Corporate Research headquarter in Germany and business units on competence development and project activities
  • Work closely with business units in China to supply cutting edge technology solutions and to transform them to products
  • Execute technology scouting that covers both academia and industry in China/Asia for preparing strategic decisions
  • Main responsibility includes:
    • Pursue technology excellence by contributing brilliant ideas to new product concepts including patent filing
    • Prove innovation concept by pre-development including design, simulation, prototyping, test and validation
    • Design and implement hardware of controller devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
    • Support project activities to transfer deliverables to business units successfully
Qualifications
  • PhD degree in discipline of Power electronics or electric drives
  • Expert knowledge and practical experiences in power converter/inverter hardware design, simulation, rapid prototyping and experimental validation
  • Good knowledge with wide bandgap power semiconductors, converter control, magnetic design and tools e.g. Ansys, Plecs and Simulink
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (oral and written), speaking German is a plus
  • Good knowledge with certain level of experience on electric powertrain system and components e.g. inverter, electric motor, gearbox, as well as fuel cell system are preferred
  • International education and experiences is a plus
  • Efficient, goal-oriented, structured working style, experienced in project work

Embedded Software Engineer – Software Engineering Solutions China (ETAS/ERS)

General objectives
  • ETAS is a strongly growing company in China. We are mainly active in the automotive embedded systems development, but also actively developing new business opportunities.
  • In China, ETAS is currently represented in 6 locations (HQ Shanghai, Changchun, Beijing, Wuhan, Chongqing, Guangzhou).
  • The objective of the position is to support the business acquisition of ETAS’ basic software solutions including presentations at the customer, system set-up and after-sales support. The involved products are ISOLAR, RTA-BSW.
Main tasks
ETAS recently acquired highly skilled individuals to join our fast growing Software Engineering Solution division to deliver engineering, consulting and training services in several key areas of embedded systems development. The position at ETAS China requires close collaboration with ETAS's offices in Asia and Europe, and includes the following tasks:
  • Provision of engineering services in the areas of embedded software development, safety-critical software and AUTOSAR
  • Technical analysis of complex software architectures and development processes including the identification and implementation improvement measures that have a significant and lasting impact on the customers’ ability to deliver high quality, cost effective software
  • Conception and delivery of customer specific embedded software solutions on time and to an exceptional level of quality
  • Close cooperation with product development teams to provide integrated one-stop AUTOSAR solutions
Requirements
  • University degree in electrical, electronics, computer engineering or related graduate degree preferred
  • Native in Chinese (mandarin), fluent in English
  • 2-3 years of working experience in engineering of embedded systems or automotive electronics
  • familiar with C language and SCM
  • Experience in developing software according to the AUTOSAR standard
  • Understanding of the development process of automotive software
  • Capability to integrate and work in a multinational team
E2E solution system architect

工作地点：上海。

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Analysis and manage system requirements for E2E solution development, considering common solution (with configurability, extendibility etc.) which can covers varies of customer requirements.
  • Definition of the platform system architecture and system design
  • Allocate system requirements or design element to discipline(SW, HW)
  • Early risk analysis and mitigation
  • Partly taking over the role of the TPM. 
  • Cooperate with project team members located in different regions
Qualifications Requirement
  • 3+ Years of system architect experience
  • Strong interest in vehicle electrics and electronics
  • Programming skills, familiar with C/C++ or Java
  • Experience working with Agile progress (e.g. scrum)
  • Familer with product SW design (e.g. Architecture design)
  • Familiar with  E/E network design
  • Familer Vehicle Communication or Diagnosis e.g. ISO14229
  • Cyber Security Basic knowledge (in automobile area preferred)
Job Relevant Knowledge and Experience
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software architecture, and UML design
  • Understand the software development process, such as CMMI or Agile development methods.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, good team spirit, a strong initiative to learn new knowledge.
  • 3+ years’ experience at Systems Engineering area, with requirement management or system architect design deep practical knowledge
  • English language skills: CET4 or above

  • Automotive industry experience is preferred
