Two XM sites earn designation as national night scenic spots
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism recently released its second list of national night cultural and tourist areas. The list includes Xiamen's Zhongshan road pedestrian street and the central area of Jimei's New City. The sites are the third in Xiamen to earn the national night scenic spot designation, following Zengcuoan.
此前，厦门市曾厝垵文创街区已获评首批国家级夜间文旅消费集聚区。
中山路步行街
讲好历史故事 激活夜间消费

中山路是厦门市文化底蕴深厚、业态产业集聚、闽南地域特色较为突出的旅游商业步行街。近年来，中山路改造提升了步行街总商会旧址、步行街东段人民剧场业态，改造水仙路清洁楼，新建侨批展厅等，一系列重要节点打造不断丰富街区内涵，推动商旅文融合发展，商业能级不断提升。
Zhongshan road pedestrian street is a tourist and commercial pedestrian mall with attractive features. In recent years, it has improved some of its historical buildings and facilities, including the former site of the street's general chamber of commerce and the People's Theater on the east section.
今年4月，中山路正式宣布启动创建夜间文化和旅游消费集聚区，并在“五一”期间举办“福佑中华，潮起中山”中山路旺街活动，通过线下活动宣传中山路文旅商景点，讲好街巷历史故事，激活夜间消费。
In April, Zhongshan road pedestrian street started work to be a nighttime culture and tourism consumption cluster. During the May Day holiday, from April 30 to May 4, it organized a series of activities to promote its culture sites and tourist attractions, to tell the stories of its history and boost evening consumption.

集美新城形成了以“水舞秀”、园博苑、诚毅科探、嘉庚艺术中心、星巢越中心、集美塔、灵玲国际马戏城为核心的“夜游”“夜娱”圈层，以万达广场、银泰百货、尚柏奥特莱斯、红星美凯龙、杏林万科等为核心的“夜购”“夜食”圈层，以及以灵玲大酒店、罗约海滨温泉酒店、北海湾惠龙万达嘉华酒店、集美湖豪生大酒店等高星级酒店为核心的“夜宿”圈层，“夜经济”各要素向高品质靠拢，一批“夜集美”地标先后诞生，成为厦门市文化旅游、商圈消费的新增长极。
Central area of Jimei's New City has now formed a night tour and entertainment circle centering on the illuminated fountain performances at Xinglin Bay, Xiamen Horticulture Expo Garden, Chengyi Discovery Center, Tan Kah Kee Art Center, Xingchaoyue Center, Jimei Pagoda, and Lingling International Circus. It also has shopping malls and complexes, such as the Wanda Plaza and the Intime Department Store, for nighttime shopping and dining, as well as a number of high-end hotels for accommodation.
The area has become a new stepping stone for cultural, tourism and business consumption in Xiamen.
